It's all well and good to come up with astounding powers and death-defying skills, but the essence of roleplaying is the fusion of storytelling and gameplay. Without some things left to chance, it would simply be a matter of the best storyteller wins, therefore, I have listed the game's dice system here.
I'm not one for big, complicated dice systems. Six sides are all you need to play "Heralds" This is fitting because skill progression, character building and other game elements are based easily upon the number six.
For example, the game's stat system consists of six core attributes which can easily broken down into two sets of three. The three base skills of "Power", "Speed", and Endurance" are broken down into two categories, Mental and Physical. Altogether, this creates six distinct atributes with which players can create their characters.
Power:
A character's Power simply signifies their potential for force. How much energy can they put behind their efforts. Physical power is called Strength whereas mental power is called Intellect.
Speed:
A characters Speed determines how quickly they accomplish whatever they set out to do and the accuracy with which they do it. Physical speed is called Dexterity and Mental speed is called Perception.
