Scotch is quote variable.

It can be peaty, or heatherish, or honeyed, or even ....not quite creamy but...like fired cream.

I am not a fusser about exclusive single malts, they are delicious to try, but my favourite is a not cheap blended scotch.

If you like ginger and want to try scotch you can always try 'scotch and amercan'. If you have a sensitive palate you can discern the difference in the scotches and the sweet ginger dilution takes the ....punch, from it.

scotch-whiskey blends are good for sipping, and prolonging ponderous moods.
also, they're good for when i'm feeling sullen, pensive, sad, confused, disenchanted, crestfallen, or otherwise bummed out.

happytimes, not so much

Scotch is what I used to drink with my father a lot, so maybe you are right. It's not a very 'lady like' drink, is it?

It's great in marmalade, and a famous Scottish pudding with oats and cream and raspberries....one of my favourite puddings and I like it on a cold evening. When I was a slip of a girl the drink request made plenty of people raise their eyebrows.

... Great, now I want Cranachan, and I'm all out of scotch. Thanks :D

Nope no funny words, I'm awake and I'll be drinking tonight for sure, so before I fall asleep I'll try to entertain you, though the fact that we're going on "safari" in a nice community tonight might leave me too busy to type lol

I mean, boobs other than my own.

I'm drinking and learning how to shove a tube up someone's nose and down to their stomach.
All is good. Well, almost.

HOB up and they have to keep swallowing. They will fight you.

Drink.

Stouts tonight.

Russian Imperial
Cranberry Cocoa
Triple Oatmeal

Dark thick, meaty beers suitable for a dark winter night. So nice.
