Although she was a little board, Ariella decided that her job wasn’t all that bad. All she had to do was sit here for most of the day answering phones, and occasionally filing things. But what was starting to get on her nerves was the fact that every time she turned in any direction she seemed to nock something over, whether it was a bunch of pencils, or papers, or even once her lunch; she was getting really annoyed.
After, like the millionth think fell Ariella just pushed her chair back a little and put her head in her lap. “Just deep breaths. Just take deep breaths,” she kept repeating to herself. “The day is almost over then you can go home and just curl up in bed.”
Slowly but surly Ariella became aware of this urge to touch herself, wherever she could. Her hands started massaging her scalp, then they moved down to her hands, but neither of those places felt just right. She then moved her chair a little forward, back under her desk, looked to see if anyone was watching, then put her hands on her knees, and slowly started moving them higher. That felt so much better, but as someone just walked by. And though thankfully didn’t glance her way, she was startled out of her trance like state. Though she still wanted to touch herself, she just kept drawing shapes on her hands, and up her arms a little, but tried to keep working. This was not the time or place for her to do anything that might jeopardize her job. She needed it. And just kept repeating these things in her head, hoping her day would end soon.
