After the dinner, she went up to her room and wrote out the remaining names, various lords and ladies, military commanders and senators, having their fates written upon paper from the quill in her hand. Then it came to her father's name. She thought about how she wanted to have Drek kill him. She felt him standing behind her and she spoke, "I want you to make it look like he died in his sleep as to not draw suspicion to me, but hell, what am I kidding myself for. I don't care." She laughed at this notion and handed him the parchment.

My father had my grandfather poisoned after he found out he was trading secrets to neighboring lands, calling him a traitor."

I led him over to the bed and ran to my chamber room off the side and grabbed a cold rag from the wash basin to place on his brow. "I know that no one saw you. Considering the sounds coming from outside, they will be causing quite a commotion for now. Let's just wait for a few hours until the sun comes up over the eastern mountains."

After about 5 hours, a knock came at the door. I was startled awake hearing the Lord Regent of Arms standing outside the door asking for me to appear before the court for immediate coronation. I shook Drek awake and spoke sweetly in his ear, "It's our time, my demon king."

I soon left the room knowing he wasn't too far behind as to keep me safe from anyone who might think it be right to attack me on my way to the throne room. This was turning out to be a very interesting time. I would ascend the throne as a part demon Queen and with a Demon King next to me on his own throne, not to mention the thought of heirs to the throne. When I arrived in the throne room, all the court went silent, that even a feather could drop and it would be heard. There were blood stains still on the floor from Drek's mission, which I walked over and proceeded to sit in the throne my father once held.

The Lord Regent of Arms appeared before me holding the queen's crown, the one that had once been worn by my own mother. After a long speech and heads being bowed in memory of those that had died the night before, he spoke, "I hereby announce the new Queen of Kingsland, Queen Alyssa." The Regent placed the crown upon my head and I stood soon after speaking loud so everyone could hear, my breasts flouncing as I shifted my hips. "I wish to announce a King to sit beside me as King of the kingdom. I appoint Drekavac Fireborn as the new king of Kingsland. We are to be wed within the evening!
