The dark cloud that hangs over the OP is the result of excessive cynicism and drinking. He is typical of right wingers who value selfishness and conflict over cooperation and progress toward a more perfect union.
I'd rather four years of the "Same ol' same ol'" than four years of things getting progressively worse. (or REgressively worse, would be a better choise of words perhaps.)...and all they keep delivering is same ol' same ol'. And I suspect most Americans would agree with that.
Biden tried his best to undo the damage that Trump did to this country during his disasterous four years in power. He did a commendable job, though it was far from perfect (yes, everything does cost a fuck ton more.) But he doesn't really get the credit he should. I'd rather someone continued that trajectory.
I'd rather the Republicans put up a reasonable conservative candidate, than a sociopath and would-be dictator with no respect for liberty or the well being of this country.
Until that happens- it's gonna have to be Harris.

Maybe it just boils down to a fundamental political difference. Dems always seem to depend on government to give them a sense of hope, and change their miserable lives into something better or meaningful.
