REP. BOB GOODLATTE (R-VA): Professor Turley, the constitution, the system of separated powers is not simply about stopping one branch of government from usurping another. It's about protecting the liberty of Americans from the dangers of concentrated government power. How does the president's unilateral modification of act of Congress affect both the balance of power between the political branches and the liberty interests of the American people?

JONATHAN TURLEY: Thank you, Mr. Chairman. The danger is quite severe. The problem with what the president is doing is that he's not simply posing a danger to the constitutional system. He's becoming the very danger the Constitution was designed to avoid. That is the concentration of power in every single branch.

Yummy.
There's a video in that link as well.

I have a problem with the blaming of Bush, since his Senate is nearly the same as Obama's Senate.

Probable Cause:

FARLEX said:
Probable cause is a level of reasonable belief, based on facts that can be articulated, that is required to sue a person in civil court or to arrest and prosecute a person in criminal court. Before a person can be sued or arrested and prosecuted, the civil plaintiff or police and prosecutor must possess enough facts that would lead a reasonable person to believe that the claim or charge is true.

So:

In the criminal arena probable cause is important in two respects. First, police must possess probable cause before they may search a person or a person's property, and they must possess it before they may arrest a person.

Second, in most criminal cases the court must find that probable cause exists to believe that the defendant committed the crime before the defendant may be prosecuted.

I didn't know anything about the guy other than that he was important. Turns out he was a violent revolutionary who was ok because he won a Nobel, but he was doing it wrong:
http://censorbugbear-reports.blogspot.com/2009/08/nobel-peace-laureate-nelson-mandelas.html

The Police investigation of the bomb explosion in Church Street West, PRETORIA, on the 20th of May 1983 at 16:28, brought the following facts to light:
The bodywork of the vehicle in which the bomb had exploded, had totally disintegrated. The engine number had been scoured off. By means of the chassis number found amongst the rubble, the vehicle could be identified as a cream-coloured 1982 model Colt Galant. It had been stolen on the 19th of June 1982 from the premises of Mr V.A. Sabattier at number 5, Sixth Avenue, Edenvale. Amongst the rubble a piece of the vehicle’s number plate was also discovered. The registration number started with “SD”.

No wonder BO loves this guy and doesn't care about a Texas explosion or tornado ravaged midwest cities (and I'm not talking about the ones in this thread: http://forum.literotica.com/showthread.php?t=957558 , but the disasters shortly after the Boston bombing, look it up) or Detroit or finacial collapse or the Constitution.

I wonder what he had to say about Mandela:: How about the full text of the speech he gave?::

As he once said, “I am not a saint, unless you think of a saint as a sinner who keeps on trying.”

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, which works to elect Democrats to the House, said GOP lawmakers were holding a hearing on "space aliens" rather than tackling issues such as immigration reform or a minimum-wage increase.

"No wonder the American people think this Republican Congress is from another planet -- they're more interested in life in space than Americans' lives," committee spokeswoman Emily Bittner said in a statement.

During the traffic stop near the university’s San Antonio campus, Redus and the officer, who has been identified as Cpl. Chris Carter, got into some kind of altercation,Alamo Heights police Lt. Cindy Pruitt said.

Redus, who graduated as co-valedictorian from Baytown Christian Academy, would have graduated from UIW in May.

..but then there is this:
Late 11/18/2013 into early 11/19/2013
Lynchburg, Va., police investigators believe Joshua Hathaway, a Liberty University student, attacked the officer with a hammer about 4 a.m. in the lobby of a women’s dormitory after making a false report, according to a police search warrant.

Hathaway told the officer he was robbed and his white Pontiac vehicle was stolen. As the officer investigated the claim, Hathaway pulled a hammer from his clothing and attacked the officer, according to the warrant.

Hathaway’s vehicle was found at the scene. Officials said they do not know what Hathaway’s motives were.

Hathaway’s roommate told a detective that Hathaway was behaving unusually recently and indicated he was having financial and academic problems, according to the warrant.

Hathaway was among the first batch of 11 seniors to graduate from Southcrest Christian School in May, according to A-J archives.

He was the class salutatorian.

...and then there is this::
4/2/2012
A former student at a small Christian university had gone to the building to find a female administrator and opened fire when she was not there, killing at least seven people, police said Tuesday. One L. Goh "then went through the entire building systematically and randomly shooting victims," Oakland Police Chief Howard Jordan said at a news conference. Goh forced a secretary into a classroom and asked people to line up, Jordan said.

"Not everyone was cooperative, and that's when he began shooting," he said. The dead included six students and the secretary, he said.

Those connected to the school, including the founder and several students, said the gunman had studied nursing. Jordan said Goh had been teased although he did not elaborate.

"We do know that he was upset at administrators at the school. We do know that he was upset with several students here because of the way he was treated when he was enrolled here two months ago," Jordan said.

The 43-year-old South Korean national had been expelled, possibly for behavioral problems, according to Jordan.

"We've learned that this was a very chaotic, calculated and determined gentleman that came there with a very specific intent to kill people, and that's what his motive was and that's what he carried out," Jordan told ABC's "Good Morning America."

Police first received a 911 call at 10:33 a.m. reporting a woman on the ground bleeding. As more calls came in from the school, the first arriving officer found a victim suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound, he said.

Jordan said there were about 35 people in or near the building when gunfire broke out. Of the seven fatalities, five died at the scene and another two at the hospital. The wounded victims are in stable condition, and at least one person was released from the hospital. They were from various countries, including Nigeria, Nepal and the Phillipines.

He told GMA on Tuesday the victims ranged in age from 21 to 40.

As police arrived, Richards said he heard 10 gunshots coming from inside the building. The female victim told him that she saw the gunman shoot one person point-blank in the chest and one in the head.

Pastor Jong Kim, who founded the school about 10 years ago, told the newspaper that he did not know if the shooter was expelled or dropped out. Kim said he heard about 30 rapid-fire gunshots in the building.

10/3/2010
Police said one student fatally shot the other student at Mid-Atlantic Christian University in Elizabeth City, N.C., some time before 1 p.m. The victim, identified as Jonathan Schipper, was pronounced dead upon arrival, according to a police report.

According to the university, the male student accused of the killing has surrendered himself to the police.

“This appears to be a personal matter between the two students,” reported Mid-Atlantic Christian University, formerly known as Roanoke Bible College, in a statement. “No other details are available at this time.”

Mid-Atlantic Christian University was founded in 1948 and describes itself as teaching traditional conservative theological beliefs. The victim, Schipper, was a sophomore in the Youth and Family Studies program and hailed from Havelock, N.C.

...and the last one I found was this:
2/10/2010
Police announced early Saturday that they have charged two University Christian School students in Wednesday's slaying of a 17-year-old classmate, Makia Coney.

Charles Roy Southern, 17, and Connor Julian Pridgen, 16, turned themselves in Friday night. After being interviewed by detectives, each was charged with one count of murder.

Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Lt. Larry Schmitt said Southern and Pridgen left campus about 3:15 p.m. with Coney in their pickup truck. After riding around, they went to a secluded area off Powers Avenue about 3 miles from the school.Schmitt said each of the boys shot Coney in the head.

Police said the boys returned to University Christian campus by 4:15 p.m., about an hour before Coney was reported missing. About two hours later, a bicyclist reported seeing Coney's body in a drainage ditch along Powers Avenue, not far from Wolfson High School.

Schmitt said the pair were friends of Coney. While police said they both admitted to killing Coney, there was no clear motive for the crime. Schmitt said there was no indication that the victim was sexually molested.

Coincidentally published and aired on GMA on 9/30/2013:

The wife of the man who stormed into a one-room Amish schoolhouse in Lancaster County, Pa., seven years ago, shooting 10 schoolgirls, five of them fatally, will never forget the phone call she got from her husband early that morning.

He said she would never see him again, and she pleaded with him to come home and talk to her, even though she had no idea of the horror he was about to unleash.

The crime stunned the nation, not only because of the brutality against young children, but because it took place in traditional Christian community whose residents are known for their peaceable ways and avoidance of the modern world.

....shit...

SO: this Climate Change stuff won't end. Apparently, now, we are all really going to die and they can prove it because we are all going to die. Apparently the world is going to end up as an iceberg or it will end up as a desert, or climate events will kill us all, or it's going to flood with rising sea levels.

See fo yo self:: (They do have College backing so it must be true)
http://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/lat...ng-Killer-winter-storms-for-next-THIRTY-years
There will be more freak winds like the October storm, which killed four people.Heatwaves will be lethal and the sea level will rise, leaving coastal towns at risk of being swamped by storm surges.

Sir Brian warned: “From the major loss of lives in heatwaves to the economic and human costs of floods and storms, the implications are worrying.

So, this story comes from an IPCC 'intergovernmental' report.

Well who is the IPCC? Well apparently they fly around the world and make speeches, but they print a lot of reports:

How about this:: How much money from our government goes to 'Climate Change' ?
(ASIN:: Taxpayer money for something no1(s) can prove exists)
http://www.nrdc.org/globalwarming/taxpayer-climate-costs.asp

The federal government spent more taxpayer money on the consequences of 2012 extreme weather than on education or transportation.

wait... wait... what? So a natural disaster is now 'Climate Change' spending?

Gets better::
http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnew...s-much-on-global-warming-than-border-security

Estimates reveal that the federal government will spend more money on fighting global warming than it will on tightening border security. Global-warming spending is estimated to cost approximately $22.2 billion this year, twice as much as the $12 billion estimated for customs and border enforcement.

According to the White House, there are currently 18 federal agencies engaged in activities related to global warming. Those agencies fund programs that include scientific research, international climate assistance, renewable energy technology, and subsidies for renewable energy producers.

Yeah. Only estimates of the exact spending are available, and no one will testify before Congress on just how much it is. As a kicker, that is just this year.

Here's a pre packaged Google search for your personal 'entertainment change'

Still wonder why there is no budget? Still wonder why they EXACT US debt is not available?

Still wonder why you cannot get a full Treasury Report?

Still wonder why the Census data is falsified?

I can only imagine how much is spent world wide for 'Climate Change'

...wonder where all that money goes...
...you know... 'Climate Change' really is a funny phrase, kind of like Occupy, it has a lot of meanings...

TOGO w/above Post #432 from one of the same links::

http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnew...s-much-on-global-warming-than-border-security

And assertions related to the threat posed by manmade global warming continue to collapse. According to the Nongovernmental International Panel on Climate Change (NIPCC), the human effect on climate is “likely to be small relative to natural variability, and whatever small warming is likely to occur will produce benefits as well as costs.
”Addressing reports produced by the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the NIPCC indicates:

Global climate models produce meaningful results only if we assume we already know perfectly how the global climate works, and most climate scientists say we do not (Bray and von Storch, 2010). Moreover, it is widely recognized that climate models are not designed to produce predictions of future climate but rather what-if projections of many alternative possible futures (Trenberth, 2009). Postulates, commonly defined as “something suggested or assumed as true as the basis for reasoning, discussion, or belief,” can stimulate relevant observations or experiments but more often are merely assertions that are difficult or impossible to test (Kahneman, 2011). Observations in science are useful primarily to falsify hypotheses and cannot prove one is correct (Popper, 1965, p. vii).

But the Obama administration contends that there is no longer a need for a debate on whether manmade global warming poses a real threat. “We have turned a corner on that issue,” said Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz. “We are — including in our Congress — really past the issue of whether we need to respond.”

Well there you have it.

Pure wasteful spending with an Orchestrated Intent on something they cannot prove exists and admit that they cannot prove exists.

http://www.aip.org/history/climate/impacts.htm
http://www.economist.com/news/scien...ing-up-less-response-greenhouse-gas-emissions
OVER the past 15 years air temperatures at the Earth’s surface have been flat while greenhouse-gas emissions have continued to soar. The world added roughly 100 billion tonnes of carbon to the atmosphere between 2000 and 2010. That is about a quarter of all the CO₂ put there by humanity since 1750. And yet, as James Hansen, the head of NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies, observes, “the five-year mean global temperature has been flat for a decade.”
Even better:---------v
http://world-nuclear.org/info/Energy-and-Environment/Climate-Change---The-Science/
The greenhouse effect itself occurs when short-wave solar radiation (which is not impeded by the greenhouse gases) heats the surface of the Earth, and the energy is radiated back through the Earth's atmosphere as heat, with a longer wavelength. In the wavelengths 5-30µm a lot of this thermal radiation is absorbed by water vapour and carbon dioxide, which in turn radiate it, thus heating the atmosphere and land and ocean surface. This is natural and what keeps the Earth habitable. Without the greenhouse effect overnight temperatures would plunge and the average surface temperature would be about minus 18°C, about the same as on the moon, which lacks the shroud of our atmosphere. We owe the difference of some 33°C substantially to natural levels of water vapour (60%, or more including clouds) and carbon dioxide in the Earth’s atmosphere.

...and then I found this thing waaaaaaay down towards the bottom of this page::
http://www.eea.europa.eu/data-and-m...-greenhouse-gas-concentrations-2/assessment-1
Greenhouse gases (GHG) have the ability to affect the radiation balance on earth and are crucial for the global climate. Without these gases, the global average temperature would be about 32oC lower than it is now (i.e. -18oC instead of the current +14oC global mean temperature average). The different GHGs all affect the climate system in different ways. In order to sum the effects of different GHGs on the atmosphere, the so-called GHG equivalent concentration has been defined. This is the concentration of CO2 that would cause the same amount of radiative forcing as the mixture of CO2 and other GHGs over a 100-year time horizon. CO2-equivalent concentrations, rather than radiative forcings, are presented here, because they are more easily understood by the general public. For an overview on radiatie forcing, the reader is referred to IPCC, (2007).

SO:: I'm going to start this one with a quote:
Can you guess the country?
Asked her view of the president, Ms. Syrota, the student, said: “He hasn’t been seen and he acts as if nothing is happening, that these are not his people and this is not his country. Every country should live by the law, and we won’t break the law, but we want to the police and the government to pay attention to the people and come over to our side.”

“They are fighting their own people,” she added. “It’s not logical, and the president should understand this.”

Well it turns out it's the Ukraine, even if it does sound familiar.

See, they had planned to join the EU in a trade deal, but now their president is going to join with Russia in a trade deal.
They are also looking for a economic loan to the tune of $18 billion from (potentially) both Russia and China.

As it appears, the population of the country, in economic crisis, just wants the government to treat them with respect and listen to their request to remove the aspects of the current government.

They have huge protests now when, originally, they had small to medium protest.

For some reason though, the police, apparently under orders, beat groups of protesters protesting peacefully.
Then things got bigger. They are essentially stopping government functions by occupying the space of the capital:
(basicaly the opposite of what is happening here, but not really).

So the protesters successfully stopped the government by taking up space:
Problem is, the back room deals continue: A lot of he said/she said/they said:

The Ukrainian and Russian governments have forcefully denied that there was even any discussion of the customs union between Mr. Yanukovich and Mr. Putin in Sochi on Friday. They say they were moving forward on other broad agreements involving trade and energy issues, but did not sign anything.

Arseniy P. Yatsenyuk, the leader in Parliament of the opposition Fatherland party, said that only the demonstrations had prevented Mr. Yanukovich from signing an agreement to join the trading group, which would include Belarus and Kazakhstan. “Yanukovich was afraid to sign the agreement with Putin,” Mr. Yatsenyuk said.

What is actually going on? Protesters, 100k of them (or a million), are calling for the resignation of their current president.
This in a nation of 46 million people.

Problems: Well they are stopping government workers who may or may not be doing essential jobs and they are destroying public property (even if it is a Lenin statue)

...and then there were the comments::
(the factual nature of all of this and these are in question as I am not there)
Amilcar in Alzaga said:
I think people should read history a bit more. Current government in Russia is as communist as Charles Bronson. The fact that they come from KGB and from a party which used to be called "Communist Party" doesn't make them communist. Russia today is as far from communism as it can possibly be, it has a corrupt government, who cares not for their people, doesn't offer healthcare, education nor work. Is just a bunch of people in power working to ensure a few men (their friends) get super rich...

The sad thing is that USA is not that much different anyway... Stop thinking the problem is a specific economic model, the problem is when a few in power are corrupt and feel they should have much more than the rest, regardless of what happens to the rest...

Tati in NY said:
Population of the western part of the country gravitates towards the EU. These people are more involved in trade. The Eastern part is industrial. In case of the EU accepts Ukraine as the member, the products of the Ukrainian industry is likely not be in demand, which means most of the industrial workers will lose their jobs. Russia buys the Ukrainian products. No wonder the people of the eastern part of Ukraine are interested in relations with Russia. It's not black and white as some of the Americans might think.

Jazzijazz in USA said:
The Ukraine at one time was a Borderland or Frontier between Russia and Europe. A brief history will tell you that at one time half of Ukraine was Polish/Lithuanian and the other half Russian. So, there is a reason for Russia's interest in this area of the globe.

...but this one caught my eye and changed the whole dynamic of the article and vicariously adds to this thread:

"The Government Accountability Office tells Whispers it is now investigating large ammunition purchases made by the Department of Homeland Security. Chuck Young, a spokesman for GAO, says the investigation of the purchases is "just getting underway."

Woot. A+

http://www.usnews.com/news/blogs/wa...4/29/gao-now-investigating-dhs-ammo-purchases

SO:: way back from post POST #151::

I went looking for the status of this, but found no word yet::
...but I did find two interesting reports:

#1: The Department of defense is spending less money: From this year::
GAO said:
The Department of Defense (DOD) 2012 portfolio of 86 major defense acquisition programs is estimated to cost a total of $1.6 trillion, reflecting decreases in both size and cost from the 2011 portfolio. Those decreases are largely the result of more programs exiting than entering the portfolio, as well as reductions in procurement quantities due to program cancelations and restructurings. Notably a majority of programs in the portfolio gained buying power in the last year as their acquisition unit costs decreased. DOD's 10 costliest programs, excluding the Missile Defense Agency's Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS), drive most of the portfolio's cost performance and funding needs. The majority (65 percent) of the funding that DOD estimates it will need to complete its current programs is associated with those 10 programs, and almost all of that funding is for procurement.
...
Implementation of key selected acquisition initiatives varies among the programs GAO assessed, and programs continue to accept risks associated with concurrently conducting developmental testing and production. Many of the programs reported that they had established affordability requirements and noted that they were meeting those requirements. Most programs in this year's assessment have also conducted "should cost" analyses, and have identified cost savings as a result. Most programs GAO assessed reported that they had completed or planned to complete development testing while in production, a approach that risks costly retrofits of systems already built and fielded.
http://www.gao.gov/products/GAO-13-294SP

So basically, the DOD is getting better not only with their spending, but how clear their spending budget is and what it is on. Which is awesome.
-->Although it raises the question why the DOD gets blamed for huge spending, considering 35% of it's acquisition budget is on missle defense...

ASIN:: Who is really responsible for the debt?

Well:: (TOGO w/Post #393)
#2: DHS doesn't report, very well, on what it spends it money on, and what it spends it's money on is not always used in a clear nature: from 2012::
However, until GAO sent DHS a draft of this report recommending that DHS issue updated policy and guidance to reflect changes to the department's procurement oversight efforts, the department did not issue updated policy or guidance. This has led to a lack of clarity among components regarding what the oversight efforts entail. For example, some components did not complete a required self assessment in 2011. GAO's review of the revised policy and guidance found inconsistencies between the two and with current oversight efforts.

DHS component officials stated that most of their efforts to leverage buying power are through the department's strategic sourcing program, which provides departmentwide contract vehicles for the purchase of specific items or services. According to DHS data, the department's spending through strategic sourcing contract vehicles has increased steadily from $1.8 billion in fiscal year 2008 to almost $3 billion in fiscal year 2011, representing about 20 percent of DHS's procurement spending for that year. The Office of Management and Budget has recognized some of DHS's strategic sourcing efforts as best practices. DHS policies encourage components to consider, but do not require, the use of strategic sourcing contract vehicles.

DHS bought over $14 billion in goods and services in fiscal year 2011--over one quarter of its budget--and processed over 100,000 transactions to support its homeland security missions. In 2005, DHS established an oversight program to provide department-level insight into components' procurement of goods and services and to identify successful acquisition management approaches. DHS has also established specific initiatives, such as a strategic sourcing program in 2003 to reduce procurement costs and gain other efficiencies by consolidating requirements.

Can you say HLS roundup trucks?
I can't wait until the ammo report comes out.
+Why can't they easily report why not all vehicles are used but the money is spent for them?

SO:: TOGO w/ Post(s) #428, #430, & #431::

First off, let me say that all Muslims and/or followers of Islam cannot be bad just the same as all Christians.

Anyways:: Central Africa:
http://news.yahoo.com/thousands-seek-refuge-central-african-airport-223752147.html

Thousands of Christian civilians sought refuge at an airport guarded by French soldiers Friday, fleeing from the mostly Muslim ex-rebels with machetes and guns who rule the country a day after the worst violence to hit the chaotic capital in nine months.

When several French helicopters landed at the airport, people sang with joy as they banged on plastic buckets and waved rags into the air in celebration.Outside the barbed wire fences of the airport, bodies lay decomposing along the roads in a capital too dangerous for many to collect the corpses. Thursday's clashes left at least 280 dead, according to national radio, and have raised fears that waves of retaliatory attacks could soon follow.

"They are slaughtering us like chickens," said Appolinaire Donoboy, a Christian whose family remained in hiding.

This is bad, but why was this part thrown in:
France had pledged to increase its presence in its former colony well before Christian militias attacked the capital at dawn Thursday. The arrival of additional French troops and equipment came as the capital teetered on the brink of total anarchy and represented the greatest hope for many Central Africans.

About 1,000 French forces were expected to be on the ground by Friday evening, a French defense official said on condition of anonymity because he wasn't authorized to speak publicly on the matter.

Well, other than because no one else wants to act, how about this:

Draw a line from South Africa, you know, Mandela's home and the location of Big O's "Leadership Academy" for girls, to Central Africa, continuing up to Syria, then over to Somalia, then down to Rwanda.

What do you get? A big letter P. If you use Nigeria, a place of current (I think Hey watch this) newsworthy events, instead of Somalia, you get a backwards P. Feel like putting Darfur into the equation?

...and guess what's on the other side of the world from Central Africa?

Why it's French Polynesia, home of nuclear tests. Obviously a genuine backwards P. A+ France for taking the hit.

But what's the anchor to this big P (or potentially another letter)? South Africa.

Oh look: BO was there for a funeral. Coincidental. Wonder why Biden opted out?
http://dailycaller.com/2013/12/09/wheres-vice-president-joe-ditched-by-b-o/

Wonder who else was there at that funeral?

Also: Big O has to be part of this. An evil 2:1 with the 1 as US(A)
Just look at her numbers: Like her first show:

Also:: lol@my use of BO, asin: B + O.

SO: TOGO w/ Post #437 above:

Who did or is going to attend Mandela's funeral?
How about an obvious short list with pictures::
http://globalnews.ca/news/1017876/a...nelson-mandelas-memorial-and-funeral-service/

Wonder why some of those people are there? Do they owe some1(s)?
Or is it for investigative reasons?

Once again, A+ for elPoPo::
Pope Francis is among the world dignitaries who is expected to attend parts of the memorial for Mandela. In a telegram to South African President Jacob Zuma, Francis paid tribute to Mandela saying, “I pray that the late president’s example will inspire generations of South Africans to put justice and the common good at the forefront of their political aspirations.”

...and I'm not even religious.

+also:: What's this?::
In this Dec. 6, 2002 file photo, Mandela and American talk show host Oprah Winfrey embrace during a ground breaking ceremony for the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls in Meyerton, South Africa.

http://vipmedia.globalnews.ca/2013/12/oprah-mandela.jpg

Get's better:
Former South African President Nelson (R) and singer Bono embrace at the ’46664′ Concert at Green Point Stadium in Cape Town on Nov. 29, 2003. An anti-apartheid activist, the lead singer of U2 was one of Mandela’s close famous friends.

Have fun with that.

C:: Oath

*note: my posts throughout this thread are being fucked up at an incredble speed. I honestly cannot keep up with it, but the nature of things changed are obviously part of something insidious. It would be nice if Laurel and Manu could keep this thread from being systematically destroyed.

SO: Simple one.

The first time BO took the oath of office, he stumbled. Roberts made him retake it for posterity afterwards so as not to have a flaw in the Constitutional system.

http://www.wptv.com/dpp/news/politi...-flubs-slightly-during-inauguration-2013-oath

...but on the beginning of his 2nd term, he took the official one on the Sunday before the official ceremony, at which time (during the public ceremony) he made a mistake.

He did not retake it:

1st:
Presidential Oath::
The oath to be taken by the president on first entering office is specified in Article II, Section 1, of the Constitution:
I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.
http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0878064.html#ixzz2n3GU28hh

Under oath is under oath. ASIN: He was under oath the 1st time he took it for this term AND the 2nd time.

2nd:
United States Code:Title 18›Part I›Chapter 79› § 1621
Perjury:
Whoever—

(1)having taken an oath before a competent tribunal, officer, or person, in any case in which a law of the United States authorizes an oath to be administered, that he will testify, declare, depose, or certify truly, or that any written testimony, declaration, deposition, or certificate by him subscribed, is true, willfully and contrary to such oath states or subscribes any material matter which he does not believe to be true; or

(2)in any declaration, certificate, verification, or statement under penalty of perjury as permitted under section*1746 of title28, United States Code, willfully subscribes as true any material matter which he does not believe to be true;is guilty of perjury and shall, except as otherwise expressly provided by law, be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both. This section is applicable whether the statement or subscription is made within or without the United States.

http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/1621

Here's another that applies both to the oath and action:

Larceny and/or Grand Larceny:: aka: Theft
CITE 18 USC Sec. 641 01/05/2009 EXPCITE TITLE 18 - CRIMES AND CRIMINAL PROCEDURE PART I - CRIMES CHAPTER 31 - EMBEZZLEMENT AND THEFT HEAD Sec. 641.
Public money, property or records
STATUTE Whoever embezzles, steals, purloins, or knowingly converts to his use or the use of another, or without authority, sells, conveys or disposes of any record, voucher, money, or thing of value of the United States or of any department or agency thereof, or any property made or being made under contract for the United States or any department or agency thereof; or

Whoever receives, conceals, or retains the same with intent to convert it to his use or gain, knowing it to have been embezzled, stolen, purloined or converted -

Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; but if the value of such property in the aggregate, combining amounts from all the counts for which the defendant is convicted in a single case, does not exceed the sum of $1,000, he shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both.

The word "value" means face, par, or market value, or cost price, either wholesale or retail, whichever is greater.
http://trac.syr.edu/laws/18/18USC00641.html

...and the same thing again for posterity::
Title 18›Part I›Chapter 31› § 641

Whoever embezzles, steals, purloins, or knowingly converts to his use or the use of another, or without authority, sells, conveys or disposes of any record, voucher, money, or thing of value of the United States or of any department or agency thereof, or any property made or being made under contract for the United States or any department or agency thereof; or

President Vladimir Putin tightened his control over Russia's media on Monday by dissolving the main state news agency and replacing it with an organization that is to promote Moscow's image abroad.

The move to abolish RIA Novosti and create a news agency to be known as Rossiya Segodnya is the second in two weeks strengthening Putin's hold on the media as he tries to reassert his authority after protests against his rule.

So why do we have billion dollar space deals with him?
Why do we trust his intelligence info?
Still wonder why our television media and print media suck so bad.

Oh by the way, he's not a Communist, he's a Facist. I base that on what?
RIA Novosti was created as the Soviet Information Bureau in 1941, after Nazi Germany invaded the Soviet Union, and issues reports in Russian and foreign languages.

Hey Watch This

So after the strangly out of chracter death of an educated young woman by a massive does of a drug cocktail that would have surely killed her:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...nifer-Whiteley-died-taking-drug-cocktail.html

This creepy guy and his website of 70000+ illegal drugs that uses a special browsing system for discretion was arrested:

http://www.theguardian.com/world/in...road-ross-william-ulbricht-criminal-complaint

Didn't hear about it? Wonder why? Oh wait: It was because the FBI made the arrest and it was right in the middle of endless 'negotiation technique' debates by BO and his accomplices on how to deal with the shutdown even though it was neccessary because they spent too much.

A+ again FBI

I wonder if a few Congressman used this method to get their drugs...

Oh, the guy was also a murderer:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...-Ross-William-Ulbricht-planned-6-murders.html

The worst part is that the circumstances of this woman's death are insanely suspicious:
Coroner Joanne Kearsley recorded a verdict of misadventure and concluded that Miss Whiteley’s death was caused by ‘fatal drug toxicity’.

...misadventure? The same thing almost happened to me and I had no part in it.

Since Gadhafi’s fall, Libya has fallen hostage to militia groups challenging the central government and threatened its transition to democratic rule.

Jedran, head of the so-called Political Bureau of Barqa, is a leading advocate of a federal state in which each region has some autonomy as was the case from 1951 until 1963 under King Idris when Libya was divided into three regions: Cyrenaica, or Barqa, Tripolitania and Fezzan. Like other Libyan regions, easterners have long complained of discrimination by the central government in Tripoli.

He added, “if the government didn’t respond, the Barqa Political Bureau would have had have another position.” He hinted that he might not reopen the terminals if the government didn’t meet his conditions.

SO: Let's talk about Snowden and the NSA.

I like the National Security Agency, and I think Snowden is full of shit.

If he stole so much data, how is it possible that he can sort through it and find just what is needed when it's needed.

+also: Pootin is calling him epic while, if you remember, he apparently staged the arrest of an American spy and everyone forgot because it was so fake. Then Snowden shows up after.

+also: Don't you think the NSA would know better than to not encrypt it's data? How did he get the decode program that only a few people in the world have? (look it up)

+also: No NSA officials are saying anything?

Here is a timeline of his life, if you've been through this thread, you'll smell the funk:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/world...0aedd8-d44d-11e2-b05f-3ea3f0e7bb5a_story.html

The news is all over this guy, as are elements of foreign governments all over the world, even thouh they have no proof of the factual nature of his data. In fact, no one but Snowden does. His proof is because he said so.

Here's an example of one faction using hearsay in a political way:
http://ca.news.yahoo.com/netanyahu-moves-calm-clamor-over-u-spying-allegations-141111340.html
Several Israeli cabinet members and lawmakers latched onto the reported U.S. espionage as an opportunity to call on Washington to free jailed Israeli agent Jonathan Pollard.

Allegations of U.S. spying on Israelis emerged on Friday based on documents leaked by former U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) contractor Edward Snowden.

Pollard, a former U.S. Navy intelligence analyst, was sentenced to a life term in 1987 in the United States for spying for Israel. A succession of U.S. presidents have spurned Israeli calls for his pardon.

"The United States is systematically spying against Israel's political and security leadership," said Transport Minister Yisrael Katz, demanding a U.S. commitment to stop the espionage and to release Pollard immediately.

His demand was echoed by Uzi Landau, the tourism minister, who told reporters: "If there was ever a better time to bring Pollard here, it is now.

...and here is correct use: (same article)
"But Netanyahu, attempting to calm the clamor, said in public remarks at the weekly cabinet meeting that Israel didn't need "any special occasion" in order to discuss Pollard's case with Washington.

He said he had constantly raised the issue at the White House and hoped "circumstances arise that will enable us to bring Jonathan home".

"This does not depend on and is not linked to the latest events," Netanyahu added, stopping short of any direct reference to the leaked documents.

The papers showed the NSA and its British counterpart GCHQ had in 2009 targeted an email address listed as belonging to then-Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and monitored emails of senior defense officials.

Israeli Strategic Affairs Minister Yuval Steinitz described the alleged espionage as "unacceptable" but he also said Israel had always assumed that even its allies spied on it.

I've always found, in my opinion, that what I see on the news is the opposite of what is important, and or "Hey watch this" misdirection.

+also: Parts of the IRS were corrupt yet hundreds of millions of Americans still got their taxes back, what makes you think that the same part of the government isn't using parts of other agencies the same way?

It's awful coincidental that the NSA, a data collection agency, is suddenly under attack, but everyone forgot that HLS has armed troops and bullets and trucks and an out of control and misreported budget.

Maybe HLS should just take over the NSA's domestic duties, along with the National Guard while they are at it.

Anyways, everyone is jumping on the NSA's nuts for collecting data for National Security purposes. But hey, what's this? The DOJ is actually doing it's job? Preventing a court case that could lead right to the door of the individuals responsible for misusing data? That's coincidental...
(It's going to be collected anyway, what matters is if it is used)

...almost like someone planned it:
http://www.nytimes.com/2013/12/22/u...udge-from-ruling-on-surveillance-efforts.html
the government acknowledged for the first time that the N.S.A. started systematically collecting data about Americans’ emails and phone calls in 2001, alongside its program of wiretapping certain calls without warrants. The government had long argued that disclosure of these and other secrets would put the country at risk if they came out in court.

But the government said that despite recent leaks by Edward J. Snowden, the former N.S.A. contractor, that made public a fuller scope of the surveillance and data collection programs put in place after the Sept. 11 attacks, sensitive secrets remained at risk in any courtroom discussion of their details — like whether the plaintiffs were targets of intelligence collection or whether particular telecommunications providers like AT&T and Verizon had helped the agency.

“Disclosure of this still-classified information regarding the scope and operational details of N.S.A. intelligence activities implicated by plaintiffs’ allegations could be expected to cause extremely grave damage to the national security of the United States,” wrote the director of national intelligence, James R. Clapper Jr.

...nice name drops...
Oh look, 9/11...
Oh look, the news referencing Snowden...

SO: Recap:
The NSA, which uas been collecting bulk data for years, because it comes together FROM THE SOURCE PROVIDER THAT PEOPLE SIGNED TERMS OF SERVICE AGREEMENTS TO USE along with the legally obtained warrant information they asked for.

Now they are being brought to court, coincidentally after some guy who used to work there STOLE that data and started passing it around. The NSA has stated that they only use that data if it is for National Security purposes, asin probable cause.

...but then some people say they have been spied on, and that they are being targeted by the NSA, but they can't prove it beyond the fact that the NSA collected bulk data that might reference them, even though they have no proof the data was used illegally.

Like the NSA, a COVERT agency would be so easily caught? Like they would violate rights of individuals?

...but someone is doing something wrong. So rather than have the legal system figure out who is really doing what, coincidentally the DOJ steps in to stop it, much like they do with Voter ID laws and illegal immigration fixes that states enact.

EXACTLY AS THE DOJ DID FOR FAST&FURIOUS...

Coincidentally, the IRS, a government agency, has factions of it illegally target individuals of a certain political leaning, but not all of the agency was involved, just parts...

The thing that links it all together?
Remember the Internet and Electronic Communications Act that BO and his Senate cronies tried so hard to pass?

It gave the Government the power to do something exactly like this:
http://www.nationaljournal.com/defe...recommends-increased-data-collection-20131222
Michael Morell, the former acting director of the CIA and a member of President Obama's task force on surveillance, said in an interview on Sunday that a controversial telephone data-collection program conducted by the National Security Agency should be expanded to include emails. He also said the program, far from being unnecessary, could prevent the next 9/11.

Morell, seeking to correct any misperception that the presidential panel had called for a radical curtailment of NSA programs, said he is in favor of restarting a program the NSA discontinued in 2011 that involved the collection of "metadata" for Internet communications. That program gets only a brief mention in a footnote on page 97 of the task-force report, "Liberty and Security in A Changing World."

"I would argue actually that the email data is probably more valuable than the telephony data," Morell told*National Journal*in a telephone interview. "You can bet that the last thing a smart terrorist is going to do right now is call someone in the United States.

"Morell also said that while he agreed with the report's conclusion that the telephone data program, conducted under Section 215 of the USA Patriot Act, made "only a modest contribution to the nation's security" so far, it should be continued under the new safeguards recommended by the panel. "I would argue that what effectiveness we have seen to date is totally irrelevant to how effective it might be in the future," he said. "This program, 215, has the ability to stop the next 9/11, and if you added emails in there it would make it even more effective. Had it been in place in 2000 and 2001, I think that probably 9/11 would not have happened."
...that sure can be taken both ways, plus that third thing...
...nice name drops...

Still think Snowden is telling the truth?
Still think that if this administration is capable of using aspects of the IRS for wrongdoing that they wouldn't do the same with the NSA?

Look at who just got the job as National Security advisor.
Look at who is screaming the NSA is bad and needs more power and government regulation.
Look at what information control laws the just tried to pass.
...just look what the DHS has become since the wackos won the Senate...

WHAT MAKES YOU THINK IT'S THE NSA MISUSING DATA OTHER THAN THE NEWS?
^---Then why is the Executive branch trying to gain more access to more data?---^

What I think? That these court cases will absolve the NSA of wrongdoing and instead will show that specific individuals withing the administration went out of their way to misuse a government agency for political reasons, and that the NSA, if it did do anything wrong, was following the orders of the same person(s) responsible for the ATF Fast&Furious bit.

No wonder the DOJ went all blockitblockit, no wonder no one wants to give Snowden amnesty, he stole confidential data, and he can't even prove it was used for anything other than legal use.

In point of fact, if some of these cases go through, it will prove that the NSA only incidentally collects that data because it is GIVEN to them by communications companies. They have even said they do not use it unless they are legally allowed to do so...

...which is probably why BO and his cronies want legal permission to use it, because they are running out of excuses to sweep in with HLS, and they already have some person(s) in place to drop orders throuh the NSA.

Still think Snowden should be a top story?

SO: As an added bonus to the above post::

The Excutive branch is going out of it's way to stop whistleblowers.
ASIN: The people who make sure fraudulent actions are exposed::

Basically, someone gave Hollywood people classified info, but no one cares, but they do care that someone exposed that people gave away classified info.

http://www.mcclatchydc.com/2013/12/20/212378/zero-dark-thirty-leak-investigators.html
More than two years after sensitive information about the Osama bin Laden raid was disclosed to Hollywood filmmakers, Pentagon and CIA investigations haven’t publicly held anyone accountable despite internal findings that the leakers were former CIA Director Leon Panetta and the Defense Department’s top intelligence official.

Instead, the Pentagon Inspector General’s Office is working to root out who might have disclosed the findings on Panetta and Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence Michael Vickers to a nonprofit watchdog group and to McClatchy.

While the information wasn’t classified, the inspector general’s office has pursued the new inquiry aggressively, grilling its own investigators, as well as the former director of its whistle-blowing unit, according to several people, including a congressional aide. They requested anonymity because of the sensitivity of the issues surrounding the 2012 movie “Zero Dark Thirty.”

“I’m concerned that the inspector general’s office is barking up the wrong tree,” said Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, who long has championed government whistle-blowing. “There’s no doubt they should look into the ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ fiasco, but they should focus on holding people accountable for leaking highly classified operational material instead of wasting time and money investigating who leaked the report.”

The handling of the disclosures of protected information to the makers of “Zero Dark Thirty,” the award-winning account of the U.S. hunt for bin Laden, points up an apparent double standard in President Barack Obama’s unprecedented crackdown on unauthorized leaks.

As an added bonus to the added bonus:
The classified info giveaway was exposed by Judicial Watch, a favorite of mine. But that's not the bonus to the bonus. This is:

Did you notice that the guy who was kicked out of Judicial Watch, and who filed suit against them but it was dismissed because it had no basis, Klayman or something, was the first person to file suit against the NSA's collection efforts, even though when the NSA has a warrant and asks for info pertaining to that warrrant, then the communication company GIVES them the extra data even though they never asked for it.

Why hate the NSA? Hate the communication company.

As an added bonus to the added bonus of the added bonus:

Exactly what info does Snowden have? Who was responsible for collecting it, when was it collected, and who looked at it and used it?

Could it point to senior administration officials? Is that why he cannot get amnesty? Who raided his friends place? Was it the NSA? Are you sure? Is he afraid to come back to the US(A) not because he is guilty of wrongdoing, but because his whistleblowing shows that specific people and not entire agencies are responsible for wrongdoing?

Does he have proof of exactly who the badguys are and in what ways they are breaking the law?

+also:: The NSA has specifically stated that they have no idea what he stole, if any, or what information he has, though he did have the potential to steal data.

What is he worried about? Who is he really implicating? What did he really steal? Is he not getting amnesty because he didn't actually steal anything and he's just making it up?

Wonder why there are no truthful undisputable facts...
Seems like Snowden is all "Hey watch this" and everyone is jumping on a bandwagon without proof beyond some text files...

He wasn't even important in the agency, then he claims to be leaking, then the Executive coincidentally goes after whistleblowers under the guise of calling it leaking while the actual proven leaker in that case goes unprosecuted.

Have fun with that.

Where's the outrage from the international community?
Where's the main headlines across America?
What the actual fuck?

Italy's highest court has overturned the conviction of a 60-year-old man for having sex with an 11-year-old girl, because the verdict failed to take into account their "amorous relationship".

Pietro Lamberti, a social services worker in Catanzaro in southern Italy, was convicted in February 2011 and sentenced to five years in prison for sexual acts with a minor.

The verdict was later upheld by an appeals court. But Italy's supreme court ruled that the verdict did not sufficiently consider "the 'consensus', the existence of an amorous relationship, the absence of physical force, the girl's feelings of love".

The court's October 15 decision to order a retrial was made public this month by Il Quotidiano della Calabria and slowly spread to social media networks, where it sparked heated reactions against the Italian justice system.

According to Il Quotidiano, the girl came from a poor family who had known and trusted the social worker.Lamberti was caught naked in bed with the girl after an investigation by police based largely on wire-tap evidence, it said.

Why was a review needed? What love or concept of love does an 11 y/o have beyond:
"I love my favorite blanket."

This is a big deal, and a complete 180 from what Britain is doing.

Is this one of those 'because there is no victim there is no crime' bullshit things?

...and now taking advantage of a child and abusing a position of public trust is legal in Italy.

SO: Cell phones on airplanes

I couldn't figure out why this mattered, or why it had to be congressional:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/busin...b171ec-635e-11e3-aa81-e1dab1360323_story.html

...and then here was this thing in the UK and it all makes sense:
http://www.theweek.co.uk/uk-news/56717/ufo-spotted-berkshire-skies-leaves-investigators-baffled

What could possibly link the two things?
ASIN: 'aliens almost crashed my plane' and 'cell phones won't crash a plane now' ?

How about the implementation of the new air traffic control system that is over budget and doesn't work?
Yup, that would do it:
http://www.faa.gov/nextgen/
or
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Next_Generation_Air_Transportation_System#Implementations

The old system functioned on radar and radio, and had people in between.
Anytime a plane entered airspace or filed a flight plan people knew. You could fly without being spotted by someone somewhere within the air traffic control system, and you had to file a flight plan.

Well the new system eliminates all of that (to an extent) and planes now broadcast and fly by GPS.
ASIN: GPS beacon on the plane and a GPS location to fly to.

Especially it eliminates the human element, and ugrades an old perfectly functioning system to NEW technology so that it works better.

Oh, and the new system cost $40 billion and around $800 million a year to maintain.
Plus all of the air traffic controllers get fired.

The airlines were supposed to help offset the cost... ha.

SO:: Of course it failing and not working correctly and is loaded with problems and the costs are excessive for private pilots::

or
http://www.sfgate.com/nation/article/Air-traffic-control-system-upgrade-in-trouble-4945073.php

SO: NextGen didn't crash your plane, it was the UFOs and the Cellphones.

As a bonus:: Here's a frame of reference thanks to Hollywoods::
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120797/

As a second bonus:
Since the cell phones and ufos crashed your plane then the FeD can wash it hands of the Verizon debaxle and prepare for an alien invasion, as if aliens give a shit about a spinning dirtball inhabited by psychotic apes.

As a third bonus:
When was the last time a GPS in your car worked correctly? Same system.

As a fourth bonus:
Since planes have to broadcast a signal to be in the system, how easy would illegal flights be?

So it turns out there really is a Nazi/Facist code:

Also::
http://www.wnd.com/2014/02/govt-handbook-for-internet-trolls-uncovered/

Greenwald said the “point is that, far beyond hacktivists, these surveillance agencies have vested themselves with the power to deliberately ruin people’s reputations and disrupt their online political activity even though they’ve been charged with no crimes, and even though their actions have no conceivable connection to terrorism or even national security threats.”

The validity of the info is sketchy at best, but it is awful coincidental.

So...

"I told you so."

NoU

The Justice Department filed criminal charges against five hackers in the Chinese military Monday, accusing them of stealing American trade secrets through cyber espionage.

The efforts were directed at six American victim companies in the nuclear power, metals and solar products industries. Among the victims were Westinghouse Electric, U.S. subsidiaries of SolarWorld AG, U.S. Steel, Allegheny Technologies and Alcoa.

So now the failing of business and alternative energy and electronic spying is China's fault?

Also:: Funny how the DoJ can do this. Wouldn't this be a Department of State issue with the UN?

+Everything else that doesn't make sense and that is wrong with this. (pot and kettle and such)

NoU!
...no... U!
..nuh uh, it was U
No. Really. We haz proof it was U.
...um..then... China did it.
