You meen when they're dressed? I think we should go with the overall theme of victorian dresses for the women. Low cut bodices, long skirt, and restrictive corsets. The guys could wear breeches, and high leather boots. Simple linen shirts, that maybe open a bit on top, with a tie for them.

Hmm...that's hard one. For me it all depends on what kind of scene/effect I'm going for. When there are clothes involved at all. I suppose brocaded fabric, leather, lace, vinyl, and corsets are pretty basic to the category though.

As for decoration for your room, in keeping with the old money/ rich materials scheme that seems to be prevalent, I would suggest wood and leaded glass display cases, softly lit by adjacent candelabras, allowing the light to glint softly, yet evily off of the metal edges and ridges of the items contained within.

I really like the way that sounds. Of course, I also like to incorporate things that I actually use in my decorating. I often find myself wishing that I lived in a larger, more accepting place, but at the same time I like being able to get out away from city lights without having to go sooooooo far.

My clothing of choice...velvets, silks and leathers in blood red, basic black and midnight blues. Whether they be girly (as IF) or more tradtional, doesn't matter. I don't allow Dom's in my private spaces but if I were to allow them in...I would love to see them in fine linen, and well fitted dove grey gloves. That whole thought is somewhat delicious to me.

Hmmm For play ..that is scheduled - I have my favorite leather pants..The boots..

Hmmm and a dark secret...I have a pearl snap, black western shirt that I usually wear.

*Grin* but I may be in the midst of a working wardrobe change .. I have a serious liking for the clothes of the 1800's ..

Picked up new boots a short while back.. Real boots..the ones that come to just below the knee..And still have real boot straps.
And the lovely lady (who could give the Christian Lucifer lessons in temptation) at the local western store made me an offer I couldn't refuse on a black frock coat.

But I should mention via edit....With a nod to the Angelic one.. Wardrobe is not really a necessity... I can do the same things (and Have) whilst buck ass nekkid ...or while still wearing my work clothes.
What wardrobe does, I think, is make the setting of the mental stage a little easier.. Theirs ..not mine.
