The DC Auto Show is today and tomorrow, and I'd like to go down and take a look at what I may be driving 10 years from now (Johnny buys used). I was just thinking that it's pretty cold and miserable outside and I really didn't feel like braving the elements; and then on the one channel my tv gets, a show about the Auto Show came on!

I like the thing that you put your phone on in the console that charges the phone, speaks out the texts and sends the phone through the radio speakers.

The new Corvette is a beautiful car but I'm pretty much done with them. I've owned a C4, C5 and a C6. The C6 was the only new car I've ever bought. I'm more of an SUV/Pick up truck man these days.

Lots of cars with electric or electric/gas hybrids. Those would be great for my suburban life style but they are still pretty expensive. Wave of the future though.

Supercars - a fool and their money soon part. But if a man can throw a million or so at a car, more power to him.

Ack... a segment on the Mustang Section. Never been a Mustang fan. I guess because I'm not a girl named Donna.

The BMW i8 looks pretty astonishing - 155mph limited and 0-62mph in 4.5 seconds, yet it will do 134.5 mpg.

And for a near as dammit supercar it's priced well, too. If you buy one of those in ten years, you'll have a sub $20,000 bargain on your hands and it'll cost you almost nothing to run.

$135,000

If I had that much money to spend on a car, I'd start an early 70s / late 60s muscle car collection!

My current daily driver is 10 years old so in another couple of years I'll be looking for something that comes out this year. Probably a pick-em up truck though.

Ah, I see. Though when it comes to picking 'em up I bet the Beamer does a fine job...

I can't wait for the NY Auto Show :) I've attended each year for the past like 10 !

Have you ever looked at the Porsche Macan which is a very sexy and quick smaller SUV !?!? I'm just waiting on the pricing and demand to cool down a bit then I'm hoping to grab one sooner rather than later !?

I went to the Detroit show Friday. I was a little underwhelmed with everything there. I was really bummed I missed the new volt. I'm not the biggest volt fan but I spend a few months doing some test work on em so This one may have been one my hands were on. Oh well saw it on the news anyway.

Im really digging the new colorado/canyon. That might be my new vehicle when I pay off my car. I like the new camaro too.
