An item in the news grabbed my attention this morning.

Apparently the North Dakota State Senate voted to retain an 113 year old law which bans unmarried couples from living together.Thus giving this horrendous activity the same status as rape and incest.

We have the same law in Arizona but it has been reduced to a misameanior

Having lived in North Dakota, I can say yes, they are still in the dark ages.

Given the number of times the law has been enforced in the last 20 or so years (I'd guess that figure is close to zero), the Legislature screwed up big time. Having the law on the books leaves some people open to selective prosecution. Face it, how many legislators don't know couples who are living together without being married.
