A long time ago, these labels actually mattered to me. It's hard to escape the social conditioning that takes place over a lifetime but it can be done. The fact that I consider her a woman was my Get Out of Gay Free card. Now, who cares? So I am gay. Whoopee!

I obviously didn't mean that, but it's puzzling to me that I didn't find anyone like that when I was looking.

Many are married and just stay in that relationship with their wife, it just becomes a lesbian one. Identity and orientation don't necessarily go together.

It's puzzling to me too. There are trans girls in the Philippines who are only interested in women but obviously I didn't really chat with them. I do think most of the Filipinas want a conventional relationship because my girlfriend's trans friends are always asking me to find them a guy.

Sounds about right, there are male dancers and TVs in India who only look for men. They don't seem interested in women or their fellow TVs.
