The President spoke in a somewhat stilted manner, obviously having rehearsed it, and seldom stumbled in his reading of the teleprompter.

I am impressed with the precipitous decline of the Democrats. I was sure we were on our way to becaming a third world shithole. They had such a stranglehold, and they lost it just like that. Trump actually took time out of the State of the Union to address the NFL anthem protests!

Of course, when deciding to talk about America’s problems, the fact that white people feel butthurt while watching football is far more important that Russia’s subversion of our democracy, police misconduct, the rise in hate crimes or sexual harassment—all things Day-Glo Donald left out of the State of the Union.
