I was going through the entry gates at the Silverdome, after having crossed over the crosswalk and navigated half the parking lot at the Silverdome, when I was stricken with the sudden, shocking, and depressing realization that I no longer possessed my ticket into the game! I couldnt believe it! I had driven two hours to get there, and I somehow either lost, or got my ticket stolen, I don't know which, but I did not have it. I checked in at the Will Call window near the entrance and told of my predicament and they didn't seem too sympathetic, and sent me to the main office. On my way into the main office, I passed by a gentleman with his two children on their way into the game, and he asked my friend and I if we needed a ticket. My friend told him that I did and called me back (I hadn't heard what the man said in passing by him). He gave me the ticket into the game, at no cost! I offered to give him what money I had and he refused it, just said Merry Christmas and he and his children were off. I feel bad I did not ask this man his name, but I thanked him profusely for bailing me out of a bad situation. I was pretty sure I was not going to be given admission into the game, the policy is they are not responsible for lost or stolen tickets. Anyway, I thought this was the coolest thing, and just wanted to let everyone know about it. Suddenly, I have a bit more of an appreciation for the holidays
