The Cool Science Stuff Thread

I love Hubble, but I wonder if they had any trepidations about putting the two pictures of the nebula side by side? It's like watching football on TV in the 80's and watching now on an oled giant screen. It's exciting to me how little it took Webb to show its supremacy. Hubble still has a roll to play, but Webb is amazing. I can't wait to see what comes in the following months and years.

To understand and use octonion algebra you need a special brain, which I don't have, but I understand their purpose and aim. almost all of this went waaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy over my head, like a totally foreign language. but it looks really exciting! o_O
