The AWS did a feature on welding women in one of the monthly pubs. Each of the featured welders were teachers at trade schools and community colleges. None of the women in the article were working in the field.

I have not run into many female fabricators. A balanced workplace is a better workplace. Too many times the break room was filled with grumpy white dudes.

I'd like to see the calculations on this to see the ROI.

I have a hard time agreeing with this statement by Reiko Kerr, Senior Assistant Manager of Power Systems at LADWP: "the state in general has way too many renewables at the end of the day.” Wouldn't the goal to be for all power to be from renewables with no dependence on fueled power systems?

I have a hard time agreeing with this statement by Reiko Kerr, Senior Assistant Manager of Power Systems at LADWP: "the state in general has way too many renewables at the end of the day.” Wouldn't the goal to be for all power to be from renewables with no dependence on fueled power systems?

Looking to do that here as well.
We have a river system with a half dozen power plants and windmills galore with spare power to pump the water back up to the headpond.
