The Construction Thread

I am a graphic designer of different buildings and bridges. It is a very interesting job because I like building and designing things since aI was a child. Now it is easier to work in this domain because in the past people draw the building by themselves and building the layout of it also by their hand. Now I just make the matrix of the building on my PC and then just print the details of it on a 3D printer and assemble it. Once we build such a big layout that we used a Peco lift hire to assemble it. It is now in the main office in our building and I am very proud of it.

Western Australian government purchases five of Caterpillars secret CAT-AT mobile control rooms to patrol its borders.

The CAT-AT has been in development for a number of years with several large miners as a mobile control room and fleet control system. It can control up to 100 autonomous trucks and provides a birds eye view of the pit. This Hydrogen powered green machine can house up to twenty people and has a built in lab for testing rock samples. It is blast proof, meaning it doesn’t have to leave the pit during blasting.
The WA government has placed an order for three with an option for two more. One will go to the SA border where it can provide over the horizon viewing and being mobile, it cover a number of tracks around the highway. This version will also include sleeping quarters and hosts a control room for remote drones to add a further 50km range. The other two are believed to heading to the NT border.
