I can only give you one piece of advice on this matter, and not from personal experience but from observation. And common sense since it also applies to how one treats people in the real world.

Do to her what you'd want done to you.

Gee.....that advice sounds familiar Illiana.

Chello....and before everyone starts calling me FleshyNuts....My name's Tina.

Well we don't usually share our first names, you're welcome too of course, but most will prolly refer to you as Fleshy or FN. *smiles* It's not a big deal. Though I will confess that when I first met FM, I had the hardest time with her name too. But now that I know her better... fuckmeat is appropriate. shrugs We all just sort of fit into our names... I don't know how to explain it.

Giggles

Try not to hijack the thread too far ladies. There are plenty of other threads to explore. You both are adorable, and you'll fit in just fine. I'd suggest the Vortex and The Rainbow Lounge. The Pearl is awesome, and of course, the Outlook is amazing too.

In this economic climate? How come?

Well, I'm not leaving my job, just dont want the job above mine for two reasons:
1. Of the two people who have had that position since I've been here, both have been miserable doing it
2. I'm moving in less than 6 months and it isn't the kind of job you can do remotely, and I'm hoping I'll be able to work out another position with them that I CAN do remotely

Might I suggest if you are moving in six months, it might be advantageous to take the promotion. Especially as it would make you "more employable" after. Allow also that it will take a large amount of the six months before you get totally miserable and you will be ready to move at that stage.

Most people think exactly as you do. Naturally they would never admit to it in public

Heh heh. I proudly admit that I have no intention of having kids. Of course, it used to be just because I wouldn't want to pass on all the stuff and nonsense I inherited.

Ah, but I'm hopingto keep my current job (or some flavor thereof)when I move. The new position can't be done remotely. More, taking a promotion knowing you are leaving in a few months does not make for stellar references.

Why did they offer you a promotion knowing you were leaving in a few months anyway?

I hope your company appreciates having someone with such integrity!!
