I am bi and currently in a lesbian relationship, but can't seem to figure out how to write a girl on girl scene. I can and do write straight scenes all the time, but two girls is intimidating to me.

I'm not sure I'd say 'preoccupied'. It's more like when I first read Light Ice's writing and realized he is in an entirely different league than me. For the level of intensity in sex play that gets us to blood letting, well, that's in an entirely different league from where I'm at now. Not to say I may not get there some day.

I'm not fixated on blood or anything. I've donated plenty of it, and shed plenty of it in RL. It doesn't bother me. I don't faint when I see it, unlike my boss. It's just that I witnessed something there that I just don't understand, I suppose. It was probably a trust thing between you and her. Maybe I just took it as a dark side thing. (The cookies are tempting though!)

There are some writer's in here that can be absolutely terrifying to interact with. A suggestion for you, that's worked wonders for me. I do my best to match the tone and tenor of the person I am writing with. Although I've found recently that I am the one setting the the tone and pace, which is entirely new experience for me. But as it is, for you, let your co-writer take you a long. You'll learn from them, and find your own voice.

As for me and Vail. My own blood terrifies me. I will pass out cold should I see it in RL. Anyone else could be bleeding and I'd be fascinated as all hell. But my own blood.... Vail knows that. She likes to push me where I will allow no one else to go. It's our dynamic.

But then, I've played with a fair few folks here, and each one has their own dynamic. When you write with them, you find their tone and tenor, and what you have either matches or it doesn't. It can be exceedingly heady when it does match, when you can actually feel the lust drip from every single word. LI has that power, so does Vail, FM, and once in a while even I can pull it off.
