I completely Agree with Alana and Sallythescorpian

In My humble opinion, there is a thread where good threads and writers are praised and you can show appreciation, why do we have to drag those who do not frequent the Lounge through the mud.
The person in question has found a place to write, not asking to be judged or critiqued. If the thread in question is suffering, it's for the writers to sort it out, advice may be sort, but there is no need to be uncivil.

Thing is...this is a really flat country....oodles of snow but not so many hills...

I hate it if it is around for more than a day. My idea of winter is a long sleeve tshirt. It did snow here for the first time in 10 years last Feb - here is a pic of my pine straw snowman.

but we don't get snow here, so, I have to fly 10hours to get snow

we were snowed in last winter! It was brilliant! Coldest winter in 140 years!

ICT I am thrilled to be up around 37000 words in my NaNoWriMo novel.
ICT I can't believe that its about 150 pages or so.
IACT I don't care that it is closer to a massive brain dump of thoughts and scenes just loosely strung together in something that probably doesn't rank as a coherant narrative
IFCT I'm looking forward to the first rewrite when it will get all pulled together
ICT as much as I dislike my life at the moment, I'm proud of this and of some of the work I did this week at my job.
