there are no rules or deadlines except one!
all poems must end with the phrase, "hey baby"

Condoleezza Rice - National Security Advisor, I Love You

when you cuddle I melt
when you tongue me I orgasm
when we pick our vegetables I am jealous
of your fingers on their shanks-
don't leave me Condi, don't pull
away from the curb in that
'64 Mustang, burning rubber,
top down,
hey baby

Hey, Baby!

All along the scaffold
they’re leaning, smiling down.
lunch break on the building site
a quiet little town.

they hear her heels a-clicking
as she draws ever near.
oblivious of what awaits,
a girl without a care.

above, one gives a whistle
using both his hands
another makes a gesture
posturing where he stands

she won’t look up to see them
embarrassed by the noise.
the foreman comes to check them all
“Stow it will you, boys?”

grumbling, they turn away
don’t see her secret smile
her eyes reveal the flattery
“Hey, Baby. Stay a while!”

I might have cheated by introducing "stay a while" ~ so sue me.
:p
