1. If you don't like our posts of love then ignore them. The ignore button is a wonderful thing that I have finally figured out. The world is full of hate and we all hear it every fucking day on the news, in the papers. You all get off on watching or reading on the news by God have at it. I thought this was going to be a place where I didn't have to listen to hate. When I first joined this place I stuck my toe in over at the General Board and realized that if I wanted to be part of that place I would read the news, the hatred in the news is by far less than that part of lit...how many of you post over there I wonder.

2. How many of you BDSMer's ever made us feel welcome, I can name a few that sent us PM's welcoming us to the boards, for those of you I will continue to enjoy our friendships that we've formed. I remember reading a post of Condatis when he started here and everyone skipped over that post, not one of you posting your bullshit today said welcome to the boards. I will say that mentioning people with 9000 and 10000 posts making mushy comments is pretty specious. It is highly likely that they don't have 9000 comments of nothing but mushy comments.

That is the core of the issue here, I think. It's not so much that you are particularly and wildly expressive of your love, but that it is almost all that you post about. And I'm not saying that as criticism. It is just honest advice. Contribute more to the discussion going on around you, and noe one will bat an eye at the PDA's. Well, fewer people will. I can say that, as MIS and I can get PDA-ish at times. We just both contribute to other discussions all over Lit.

Free speech works both ways. While you can certainly and legitimately claim the protection of free speech to post paens of love for your paramour, others can likewise use their free speech to post about it, including starting threads like this.

If the thread were actively untrue, I could see being ticked off, but you two really have turned your posting here into a lovefest, with little content beyond that. It's your business, don't get me wrong, but the initial post has nothing whatsoever false or specious in it.
