Jimmy let it spill. He was going to have to learn how to be comfortable around her, given their new relationship.

"Born in Philadelphia... pretty humdrum life.. I as planning to go into acting when i got out of High school but I got picked up for this instead. Never been much of a ladies' man, I was always the weird long haired kid in the back of class. My dad was Japanese, my mother was scottish." he looked back at her found himself eyeing her chest, her hips, her legs... like some sort of sex-starved teenage kid. THe knew that deep down inside he was a lecherous and horny young guy but he never wanted to admit it. But there was something about amy that urged him loosen up a bit.... so he let it all go now.
"Havent been with a chick in two years, Not much of a drinker, used to do ganja ... dont anymore."

Amy smiled at him she knew he was checking her out she watched his eyes closely. "I was the one that never spoke in school people thought I was mute, until at a talent show we had I sang and that was when I let myself do what I wanted, instead of sticking my nose in books I lived the life I should be living. And ive never been with anyone, I don't even know how to kiss a guy to be honest" She blushed some. "And to be honest ive seen you I was hoping we would be partners..."

"Yeah... you and half the other women here." He said jokingly. "As soon as I stepped off the train, it was all eyes on me for about fifteen minutes. Kinda weird if you ask me." He scratched at the back of his head. Things were moving pretty fast, he had to admit. But he wasnt about to complain, after all, he'd been landed with a more than attractive woman and for once there wasnt some middle aged disgruntled guy with a .45 in his drawer watching over the two of them like a hawk just WAITING for Jimmy to make the wrong move.

He sat there for a moment before realizing just what she'd said before that last bit.

"Waitwaitwaitwait... you've never ... I mean, a girl like you and you've never even been... " he couldnt seem to get his mind around it so he just made vague gestures until it looked like she got the idea.

Jim whipped his head over to the door and then back at amy.

"Just one moment babe..." He said, standing up and putting his coffee down on the table. He quickly brushed his shirt off and opened the door with a nervous smile.

"Yes?... Oh, Hello... you've got Juice, pills and a hypodermic needle." Jim had heard some pretty weird things about cults that lived out in the mountains, and he'd heard his dad talk about the Jonestown massacre. His eyes went wide and his ever nervous look become one of a man trying not to look completely terrified. He didnt like the looks of this at all.

"Sweetjeezus those had better be vitamins...." he said in a scared hush as he stepped aside and let Abbigale into the cabin.

"Okay... that was about the freakiest thing I've seen all week." He said to himself as Abbigale finished up with the shot. Jim tried to smile and found that it took a great deal of effort. But he got his lips up smiling in a very cordial matter even though his eyes showed that he was scared shitless.

If that was what they did to the woman, just what in god's name were they going to do with the men? His mind filled with images and stories of ritualistic castration, chastity belts, happy pills and cyanide flavored Kool-Aid.

Part of him wanted to know just what had been put into his "Spouse's" body. Part of him didnt want to know. And part of him wanted to go the bathroom and be sick. Once Abbigale was gone he sat on the couch with his knees hugged to his chest. He sat in complete silence and stared at the floor.

Gyna got out of the train and grabbed a duffel bag with her belongings. She was pointed to a small cabin. As she walked inside she noticed the only other occupant was another young woman who seemed to be asleep. Quietly, she pushed the bag under an unused bed and laid with her eyes closed, wondering what this new lifestyle would bring her.

After a few moments, Jim decided to get a breath of fresh air and get off the damn couch. He stood up and ran his fingers through his hair, tossed his suitcoat onto the couch and sat out on the cabin porch in his t-shirt, jeans and faded black and red chuck-taylors. He needed to clear his head, it was a bit too much for him at the moment.

And tommorow he'd start working. There was a bit of comfort in that thought. Although he was a creative spirit at heart, he never backed down when there was work to be done. He figured it would all be pretty simple, ditch digging, woodcutting, he was alright with carpentry, after all he'd gotten all A's in shop class, or maybe he'd end up hauling one thing from one place to another place. Or maybe as a new-blood he'd get stuck with floor mopping or sweeping up around the workshops. Whatever it was it would help him get some stress out. He would have prefered to relive some stress in a different fashion but he wasnt sure what the actuall rules on propagation here were and what was allowed on his first day in.

Amy watched him, he seemed worried about something, she wondered what was on his head but instead of saying something she bite her tongue and let him go. She stood up finishing her coffee off and washed it in the sink. Looking out the window she hummed to herself, a song her mother once sang to her when she was a small child.

Jim heard Amy in the cottage and decided to go see how she was doing. He stepped through the door and found her at the window. He moved up next to her and reached out, placing a hand on her shoulder.

"How you feeling?" he asked, genuinely concerned about her injection above all else. "You'll have to forgive me... I havent been told a whole lot about what goes on here... there was no orientation speech or anything... and that Abby woman didnt say what she was giving you." He smiled wearily at her. He wanted to relax and adjust to the setting a bit better, and he decided now that he didnt want to do it all alone. "I heard her mention something about having to massage the spot... I can do that if you like? My uncle was a massouse... I'm no swedish miracle worker but I know how to work out knots and stuff..."

Andrew looked around the compleax. He had arrived late due to some problems in his travel arrangements,he noted what would be his new surrondings for the up coming months.

He was told to see the priest who would introduce him to his partner,as he waited for the priest to see him Andrew wondered if he would be good enough for who ever he partned.

OOC Sorry it was a bit late, looking foward to this thread.

Jim drew his hand back and looked out the window. He sighed and stood up. Maybe there would be time for that later.

There had to be , he told himself, how can I be expected to have sex with her if I can't even find the time to give her even a simple back rub?

He looked down at the floor and rubbed his arm nervously. "I guess that means we have to go to dinner..." he said sheepishly, as if ashamed or dissapointed about... something. Everything so far had been weird and he didnt want any more horrible suprises. His eyes seemed sort of weary, and indeed he was. Tired, weary, hungry, lonely and worried about so many things he couldnt even name them all. He didnt even know how he had managed to become lonely... probaly his own fault for having totally fucked everything up with damnable social awkwardness. He didnt say anything else to Amy and tried not to break down scream out of frustration at himself...

He knew now why he was ashamed... Amy was a nice girl and she didnt need a basket case like Jim. He couldnt help but feel like he was just a mentally screwed up annoyance.

He made his way out the door and waited for Amy to follow along. He tried to keep a brave face but wasnt sure how well he was pulling it off. He found a spot at dinner and cleared a seat for him and his mate.

Andrew listend to the preist explain things and nodded,he then followed abbiygal to his hut."Thank you and see you at dinner" he softly said and watched as she left him to settle in.

Andrew put his bag with all his clothes etc down and looked round the hut,"so this is home for a while" he murmed taking it all in.Then he heard the dinner bell ring,"time to go guess I'll meet my neighbour's then my mate possibly" he said exiting the hut and heading to the dining area.

Jimmy sat down at the table and looked around. Everyone else had everything figured out... everyone else was well adjusted and clean looking and here Jimmy was, some scared college-age kid with his shoulder length-hipster hair ragged from having buried his head in his hands too many times that day. Sitting next to a woman who seemed so nice and smart and funny and forgiving which was intimidating as hell. Jimmy felt oddly insignificant next to her... Amy who seemed so comfortable here. Who was he to impose himself on her life like an emotional wrecking ball?

He wanted dinner to begin, he was hungry and tired... He'd take it one step at a time and concentrate on getting through dinner without making a clean break for the woods and dissapearing...

His mate had to serve him? Jim was feeling kind of iffy about that idea. If there was one thing that made him feel worse about all of this, it was that his mate HAD to serve him. Back in Philly, that shit wouldnt have flown in a hundred thousand years. But he sat there in guilty silence as His meal was dished out to him. He shook his head and ate quietly...

This is it Jimmy... this is going to be straw someday. One of these days, you are just going to snap and go crazy end up getting kicked out of here... Just like you got kicked off the soccer team, and your job at Starbucks, and your Mom's house. He heard himself thinking. He didnt want to listen to it, but he couldnt help it... what if he was right after all? And the guilt and the stress did get to him and... he'd fail at this... At least he could still go to college... he had that much. He certainly wasnt about to loose sight of that.

Andrew listend to Abigal explain things,"only problem I haven't met my mate he murmed wondering when he would see her scolding himself inside for not being paient. He looked around, their were a few couples and after the preyer they were digging into their meal while he waited,

Andrew rasied an eyebrow as abiyygal explained he had to do the washing.Shrugging he took her plate wiith his and joined in the tidying up,"well you asked for it Andy boy" he muttered to himsellf as he soaked the plate in the water before drying it.

Jim got up, he couldnt bear to look anyone in the eye, and started gathering up the plates from the meals. He even went so far as to take plates from other tables, offered to take the load off of other guy's hands and rushed off to the kitchen where he opted to take care of washing the dishes on his own.

Once everyone had brought the plates in he found a spare apron and tied his hair back, setting to work with the sponge and soap, taking care to scrub all the bits off of each plate one by one. He just sat working... trying to find some sort of pennance for all his faults in that. With each plate passed through the water he told himself that if he just worked hard at whatever he did and didnt bother anyone he'd at least keep some dignity... and not look like a total moron in front of all these people.

OOC: Sorry!... comp went nuts on me....

IC: Gyna had been quiet all through dinner. As she was sitting alone, she grabbed her plate and quickly cleaned it up, ignoring the stares she got from the men there. After she was done, she went back to her seat, wondering if they were free to go now. She had to admit to herself this felt wierd. Having always been independant, she couldn't see herself having the baby of a guy picked by a stranger. She shrugged it off This is preserving the species we're talking about. If I have to have a strangers baby to help then so be it she thought to herself as she looked around her, watching the women chatting while the men worked.
