The Computer and Friendships........

This thread is something I have to do...If it gets buried it wouldn't bother me...if no one comes in to post it wouldn't bother me....it is coming from my heart.

I see a screen in front of me with a keyboard on my lap.....Never knew what it could bring to me until one day I started to look around.

A story a friend send to me came from a place call Literotica...A place I never knew....The story open the door to many things.

More stories, poems, roleplaying, a playground, BDSM, a General Board and a picture area .

Stories by people who never knew they could write and boy could they......many nights sending me to sleep horny

Poems of many poets, me included, who words never met anything until the pen started to write.

Roleplaying..OMG a fantasy comes true with others joining you...to help you play it out.

A Playground.....where I could come and play and get my 11,000 posts.....and where others got theirs as they enjoyed themselves. A place where you always feel welcome.

BDSM......where people were afraid to go into......because they knew nothing about......but when you enter it .......it is a learning area.....to understand something that could be in every one of us..but just don't understand it.

The General Board.....a place where people really speaks their minds......and hard to let other ones to join in......until they got to know you.......then you fit right in.

Pictures....Oh my, hmmmm, now that is a area that is very hot.....to post a nude pic of yourself and never got knock down by anyone........wow what a pick me up feeling the people give you for doing it.

Now I know I miss serveral other boards and please forgive me for it....but this is not what I am getting at.

The people who come to post here have made very good friends.....All because of this screen and keyboard that open the door to lit and other things.

So to my friends I have made here.......I so thank this thing call a computer...because without it..you would never come into my life and I would never have the friendships I have now or will be having.

So like I have said it is something I had to do........So read me or past me by...for again it is only words.

Angel, I was told about Literotica from a friend also. She told me that it was free and had some good stories, she didn't even know about the threads. I later told her about them. But once I discovered the boards it took a bit to fit in and find my niche, but once I did, like you I found some very wonderful friends that I will have for life. And even though I came here to check out things and see if could understand sexuality things better I was never looking for anything to really change my life. But as you know, I found my soulmate!!!! I will always be indebted to the computer,internet and most of all, Literotica! Btw, great thread Angel!

It's been a long time since I've seen you......I really did
enjoy your post here!

If it weren't for Literotica, I wouldn't have been able
to showcase my writing for the free world to see.......
wouldn't have been able to meet many great people
at Litogethers........wouldnt' have been able to make
more friends.......and wouldn't have been able to become
more open about sex, erotica, and the like. Literotica
has allowed me to do, experience all of those.

I agree that the 'net has allowed me and many, many
others to explore and check out different aspects of
what was "hidden" before........

Stop by the Cafe sometime........miss seein' ya there!

We sit and we type,

What this possibly means.

We type all our woes,

Small groups we do form,

And gang up on our foes.

LITEROTICA has become my home as I've made both NET friends & R/L friends from being here.
Way to many to name here but they are all very special to me as recently I had not only my puta stolen but that of a friends as well
& my friends have put in to get a replacement one for me which has really touched my heart.
I have a special bond with KIKI who hasshown me what real strengh of caracter is all about & think the world of this fine lady.

I could fill pages & pages going into who & why ppl are special to me but not now as they know who they are & why they are special to me.
Yes LIT is sexual but it is very social too, a place to relieve the troubles we have in R/L.

I am so very thankful for LIT existing.

If I remember right, I found Lit while reading an article in either Redbook or Cosmo online... it was a bulletin board somewhere, and one of the girls made reference to Lit in her post. So I came and explored, lurked for a while, and eventually started posting.

I've met so many wonderful people here since the end of last summer, and I am grateful for having had the chance. I'm especially grateful for having met someone that may become part of my life forever.

I find that Lit is not only a great place to make friends, posting can be a wonderful way to relieve stress. As a single parent, I can come here and cut up to my hearts content. I don't have an outlet for that at home, and have never been one to whine and complain to people at work about my home life. So having the ability to come here and have some genuine fun is a joy. Lit keeps me sane. ~wink~

I had my puta stolen recently & spent a few weeks depressed because of the loss of contact with my friends here on LIT & not the fact that my puta was stolen.

Last November we had a LIT meeting in Sydney with TULIP visiting from NY, we had 15 LIT ADDICTS attend for a great days fun LADYBIRD came from the other side of the country to be here too.

I have also made many friends else where in the threads & have devoloped great connections with them ALL, each & every one hasa place in my heart.

ARDEN I still prefer to see youin your AV's as with ALL ppl it helps know who you are posting with.I'm so full of hope that things go as you wish with your partner.It does please me to see you happy dear lady.

I too must reply to this thread...as you can tell by the number of posts I have now....I have done a lot of talking and posting.....when I got my first computer 3 yrs ago...I had no idea what changes it wld bring to my life....some bad...but mostly good...althou it did contribute to the end of my marriage...it also brought me a lot of happiness when I found the love of my life..and met him thru lit too....but I had to seperate a lot of chaff from the wheat before he came along....and a friend of mine got me started on lit...and I have met so many great people on here...they come and go....some are around from the start...some dissappear...but they all leave a mark on your heart...

And believe me....I'm happier now than ever .....My Bobber is a very very special man ...

My life has changed so much for having found this site... from friends to ships passing in the night... I find myself lost if I can't check on them in some way!! I'm very thankful for the search mode on my pc for I wouldn't have found this place otherwise... friendly, open people to chat with and exchange ideas... it filled a void I didn't realize I had...
