That’s great news SF, really pleased you’re safe from the fires. I bet CG will be skiing later today. Storm and I have a week booked in January before the new term starts and as neither of us particularly want to spend it with our family we’re looking at brochures for last minute booking skiing trips.

No skiing today. I ski Monday through Friday and rest on the weekend when the slops are crowded.

The two of you will have all the privacy a crowded pub can afford, without any interruptions.
I don't need wareraven powers to convince gentlemen that they would be a lot more comfortable sitting at the bar than they would messing with my friends.
I could probably do it without speaking or sudden moves if i ware my dress uniform with the old trimmings.
Heck if i ware the right choice of earned hats I might not even have to strain my eyes with dirty looks.

Sal will tell you more but from what I know John has an American mother who married a British soldier. His father died when John was about 5 and his mother brought him up in just outside New York. John is now an Officer Cadet with the US Army and is with us on exchange for a year.
