Sheerluck Holmes, the world's most serendipitous detective, is engaged by the distraught Inspector Degrade of Scotland Yard to apprehend the nefarious cad known as Jack the Stripper, a miscreant who disrobes women (and effeminate men) in public, in the daytime, openly on the foetid streets of London.

In pursuit of his quarry, Holmes must negotiate the decadent sexual subcultures abundant in the imperial metropolis. Brothels with clients and staff of all ages, genders, ethnicities, and kinks. Depraved sex clubs for aristos of all persuasions. Gloryholes with masked royal patrons. Circles of ritualized-sex mystics. Ordinary perverted working-men and -women. And great mysteries in hidden cellars...
