Destiny

I look back at Keith then at the stranger. "Latte was never dangerous in my opinion. Although if you drink enough of it, it might be." I watch as he looks down at his trousers. "Club soda will get that out just fine."

 

[Khadgar]

Keith

Keith looked at the startled man. "uh, hello. no.... i don't think i've met this guy before. need some more paper towels?" he looked back at Destiny. "you okay here? or am i going to have to restrain you?" he smiled to let her know she was joking. "so, you just lost your job, your house, and your guy? all in the same day? i'm not suprized you were on the bridge, but hey. if you really need help, all of the air hosts and hostesses, and alot of the clerks too have left, only the pilots and other people with specificly trained jobs have to stay. i can see if i can help you with a job there, and if you've got a place you can get thre, or maybe you don't have a car? i could drive you if i were called upon or something. sound good?"

 

[Sixth]

“God!” I half murmurand half grind my teeth while I wondering whether this could get any more embarrassing. The stain is slowly sliding down the front of my trousers and as it does so I realise it was about to hi-light a drop of cum which must have gone astray during my wake up call in the car outside.

“Soda? Club? Right!” I rush over to the café’s counter, at least I’m not pointing at the pretty woman and the flash pilot, pay for the spilt coffee, borrow a few spare paper towels and purchase a can of the improvised cleaner. As I turn back to the face the two – which I know I have to do in order to beat a quick retreat – I offer up, “You know, I always have my doubts about liquids which serve equally well as a drink and a stain remover!”

I make a move for the door, explaining, “I’ll clean up outside in my mini. I don’t want to empty the entire café by rubbing at my crotch in public.” Christ. I have a habit of saying stupid things. As I exit the café’s cute little bell chimes behind me.

OOC: That’s me out for the night. I guess this was a quickie!

Destiny

I watched as the other man left and went to his minivan. I didn't mean to be rude. I hoped he came back so I could tell him.

 

[Sixth]

Stains

I climb into the back of the minivan and take off my trousers. Damn it, I’ve been in the back of the van without my trousers on before but never for anything as boring as trying to clean up a coffee stain. Using the combined suggestions of the paper towels and the cream soda I set about scrubbing out the coffee stain from my crotch. “Yes!” I say loudly as the stain starts to lift out.

[ Outside in the car park two women overhear the muffled cry of “yes!” from the minivan and pause to watch the rocking vehicle. “Dear me, they should get a hotel room or something” the elder of the two comments to her friend. ]

Keith

Keith noticed Destiny was kind of zoned out. he wondered if she was okay, he waved hid hand in front of her face slowly "hey, are you still with us here?"

 

[ARaynes]

Destiny

"yes, I am here. I was actually waiting on you to start a conversation. So, what do you do for a living?" She had zoned out a bit, but she wasn't about to tell him that.

"I mean, are you construction worker? Or a model? WHat?"

 

[Khadgar]

Keith was confused. she must be really shaken, he had talked about himself only a few minutes ago. "er, like i said, i'm a pilot, but because of whats been happening lately, you know everyone afraid the plane will get hijacked or something, there's not alot of customers. have you been hearing what i've been talking about?/ or are you a little shaken or something?"

Keith was genuinly concerned for her health.

Destiny

OOC: Geez, where is my head. Too much sun. Just got back from a Ren Faire. LOL....>Sorry, Khadgar.

IC: "Yes, Sorry, I heard you say that. I must have just dazed away.....Please forgive me? Your next coffee is gonna be on me. Just not like that guy's was on him please. You will wilt my wittle petals." She grinned.

"OK. Guess you wanna know something about me. I work for Bockman and Brooks. Although I am presently on vacation. Some life problems, you know the ones I told you about, have gotten me a leave of absence until I 'change my attitude'. You were saying something about a place for me to stay I believe."

I smiled. "Again. I am really sorry." She didn't want him to think she wasn't interested, she just fazed out temporarily.

Keith

OOC: lol no problem. guess you just missed it.

IC:
Keith laughed. "i'm pretty sure i'm more sure fingered than him. plus you're not startling me, it's not problem, dazing away i mena. it happens"

Keith smiled at her when she mentioned the place to stay. "hmmm, right, your house is.... er.... sorry, if you haven't gotten a place to stay yet, i don't really know you too well, but hey, what beter way to know someone hmm? sure. if you need the place you're welcome to stay with me. and don't be sorry, it's my pleasure. so they want you to chage your attitude? was this before everything began to unravel, or after? why did they do that?"

Destiny

"After," I said, not proud of what I did, " I basically lost a big client because of everything falling apart."

 

[Khadgar]

Keith

Keith nodded. "you don't really want to talk about that huh? okay." Keith smiled at her. "hows the coffee?"

 

[ARaynes]

Destiny

"Just another Latte. You said you had a car right? I could really use going to get some clothes before I have to start running around naked, do you think you could help[ me with that?"

I looked really sincere with my request. I thought i could get me some clothes and he could go along to help me relax.

 

[Khadgar]

Keith

Keith smiled. "running around naked huh? You might get a little TOO popular with any visitors, or my friends heh, yeah. Sure thing, you want to go now? It's just a short walk to my parking lot, then we can go and get you some things." Keith was glad he could help her, he may be able to make her smile and be happy when a while ago she was so saddened. He really wanted to get to know her more, and everything was going well so far.

Destiny

She concidered finishing her Latte, but decided that she would rather get out with Keith. Alone, more talking. "Sure, Let's go. I have my credit cards here in my purse."

She stood and smiled looking down at Keith. Her elbow out she said, "Shall we?"

Keith

She put down her latte and stood, holding out her arm. "Shall we?" he stood up and linked his arm through her and grinned at her and he quickly put some money on the table. they left walking down the street back to where Keith's 98 Probe was parked.

Destiny

She smiled feeling like a schoolkid again. "You know, I don't know you very well, but you bring out something in me."

She laughed. "Let's go crazy. Have you ever seen that old movie, BIG? About Tom Hanks and his getting a new apartment and the trampoline and stuff, let's do that for a change. Wanna?" She had gotten really excited.

Keith

Keith grinned. "actually i haven't seen it, but i'm pretty sure you're going to show me!" He opened the door on her side and let her in, then walked around himself, and climbed in. "so my partner in crazy shopping, where we off to?!"

 

[ARaynes]

destiny

She thought for a moment. "Ok, off for clothes, anywhere that they sell nice fun clothes is great. We must get you a tux and me a formal....then we need a trampoline and lots of toys!"

 

[Khadgar]

Keith smirked at her. "a tux huh? well, sure, lets go." Keith drove for a while before he pulled into a lot. "hey, this looks as good a place as any, want to try here?"

 

[ARaynes]

"Yes, lets go." They walk in, her more or less dragging him...

Keith

Keith in actuality could stand shopping, especially for clothes. when he was in a store, he was itching inside to get out. she was dragging him throough the doors, she had obviously expected this. but he went with her anyway. She began riffling through dresses and other things she was looking through, all sorts of cloths. he kind of watched her, trying to stay in the background hoping he wouldn't be pulled into some kind of dress up thing where he tried on hundreds of outfits.

Destiny

She shopped, looking at this and that, and then bought several outfits. "Now, on to the toy store. You do think you can handle buying fun stuff right?" She said, noting his discomfort.

 

[Khadgar]

Keith

Keith grinned at her "what are you talking about?! of course i do! come on, lets go get some toys. what kind of toys are we talking about anyway lol you said something about a trampoline right? heh, lets go get anything you want!"

Keith walked with her to the door and they paid for their items, climbing back into the car he drove off, wondering where they were going next.

She was happy now. They pulled into the biggest toy store she knew. Toys-R-Us. "I actually don't know what toys, any and everything you want. I am buying. But yes, we must get the trampoline."
