Not sure. The good news is that he nearly ran the guy in front of me off the road, too. I got his name and number - you know as proof that this guy did run me off the road. He saw it all happen. The other good news is I know it was one of the trucks that's been takign supplys to company that's repaving my road. The bad news is I didn't get a license plate number, and of course all those drivers are going to deny that they caused an accident and then kept going. So it's possible I won't have to eat it.

Your cars previous life

I was in a pretty scary car accident today. I was driving and this semi went into my lane and drove me off the road, I went into a ditch and hit this cement thing. Then I started having chest pains so K ran me into the ER. I'm fine - just badly bruised, and possibly with cracked ribs. I should not have gotten out of bed this morning.

I did a little digging and found out where your car was before you bought it.

I think this explains everything!

Musta been those chocolate fudge rumballs my grandmother used to make at Christmas time. I swear, those things had vapors coming off of 'em...

Met Betticus at a thing in El Paso and, yeah, got asked by some chick that if I didn't like being there why did I come in the first place. Ok listen, just because I don't enjoy bouncing around like I'm a little rubberband doesn't mean I don't like going to things. Other than that it was a fun, if not early night....I get cranky when I'm sleepy.

about the only thing my grandmother on my fathers side made that was truly edible..........lived with her for 2 weeks .....gave me a new appreciation for puffed wheat as a staple

Squid, lobsters, crabs, octopi, mussels, clams, and oysters are not edible, though a full quarter of my ancestry seems to think so. (My father's mother was Sicilian (the cookie maker), and my father's father was from northern Italy - mountain people. My mother's family were all Irish, though if you follow the family history back far enough, they're originally from what is now Denmark.)

SYDNEY (Reuters) - One in four Australian parents regularly "borrow" money from their children's piggy banks to pay for anything from bread to luxury holidays, a survey said Wednesday.

Mums are more than twice as likely to raid their children's savings than dad, with 35 percent of mothers confessing to the crime compared with 16 percent of fathers.

But almost 9 out of 10 still believed they were setting a good example of financial management for their tiny tycoons.

Fund management firm Bankwest surveyed almost 400 parents or guardians of children aged 17 or under.


"I am guilty of the crime myself," Paul Vivian, Bankwest's head of retail deposits, told Reuters.

"If you can't find any money, you know the one place you can always rely on is the kids' piggy banks. But my wife always makes sure I put it back -- with interest," he said.

Of those who admitted to raiding piggy banks, more than half said they used the money to buy essentials such as petrol, milk and bread.

Another 20 per cent said they needed the money to pay off water and electricity bills and other utilities. But 16 per cent put their children's savings toward such extravagances as holidays or new cars.

The survey follows Reserve Bank of Australia findings that many Australians spent more than they earned in the past three years. On average, Australians saved only 2.9 percent of their annual income.

True enough. The biggest issue is their were several trucks on that road around that time cause they're repaving Foster. The lady who lives there was talking to me, and she says those damn trucks are always barreling through. grr

It may be in the preparation or presentation. Quite frankly, I just flat-out don't like them, to the point I could quite easily starve to death rather than try to eat them. It's not an allergy, I don't think. One of my friends is allergic to mushrooms, and the experience he relates doesn't match up; I don't have my throat closing up or anything like that; just nausea while chewing, and I;m not sure if it's taste or texture.

I get the same thing with certain fruits; citrus especially, and any melon. And those, it has to be texture, because I love the tastes.

mind you, I've never been tested for allergies, either.

And with Lobsters and crabs, it's a case of knowing too much about their biology and ecology. trust me, you don't wanna know...
