I wish people would stop saying I look tired.
First of all it remonds me that I am.
Secondly it means old. they just don't know it.
I've been told I look tired at times. It does make you feel tired, even if you aren't. It makes you wonder if you look tired and if so, why?

I'm sure there are some who say things like that out of concern, but there are always those who will say it just to be nosey. And, there are some who don't even think twice about things before they say them.

I remember, many years ago, when my grandmother died. While at the funeral, one otherwise very nice and kindly lady came up to us and said "Doesn't she look good? She looks like she could just get up and talk to us." She didn't mean anything mean by saying it, but at the time I thought it was a little strange. I could see her coming up to me and telling me I look tired.

Geez, if he really wanted his daughter involved in anything sexual at seven years old even, much less bestiality, that would be pretty horrible. *shakes head*

That's the way I feel Fury. Children and kink shouldn't mix until they are old enough to understand it. Say 17 or 18.

Get glasses - no one can see the bags under your eyes. Well, not unless they're like REALLY sick.

I know cause I always look like I've got black eyes. Even with makeup I still look tired.

And, animals should never be involved.

I remember back in the mid 70s when I lived in Nashville. I had this neighbor that was always looking at me through her kitchen window. At the time, I didn't know much about her kinky personality, except a friend of mine told me she was a little wild. But, he was pretty vanilla and thought sex with two women at once was kinky. Sex with two women is fun, but I wouldn't really call it kinky.

Anyway, this woman had a German shepard. I do remember times when she'd call that dog into the house on hot summer afternoons. Then, after a while, he'd be back out in the yard, again, but the look on his face seemed more satisfied and his tongue was hanging out of his mouth a little more. I don't know...maybe I was just seeing things that weren't really happening. But, then, I wonder...

Yes, that's one of the few taboo areas I won't ever touch in RL but I will "play" young. I will think about young boys. I frankly don't believe it hurts a young man to learn about such things because I knew quite a few that did.

However seven, is, IMO waaaaay too young.

If he was really into that? I'm glad this friend of yours protected herself and her daughter. If he was really into that, he's probably victimized quite a few. I used to attract that type. They know who is easy prey, somehow they know.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with that DVS. I mean the dog looked happy right? The woman looked happy right? Sounds good to me. *shrugs*

My friend is currently living with a really nice guy, that she dated off and on for years when she attended college. They have a 5 year old that is just so pretty and mischevious. Quite a handful. All 3 of her children are quite happy and well mannered. I'm glad she is doing better now.

But I have glasses...
maybe I should actually use my concealer.

Don't know then. How thick are your glasses? Mine are pretty thick, maybe that's the difference.

So a couple of weeks ago I had a remicaid treatment. I mentioned to my nurse, Heather, about the bruises I've been getting. And while I was sitting there getting my treatment (which takes 2 hours) I got another. I got a CBC (complete blood count) and everything is fine. So then I got a letter from my GI saying that she wanted to see me. I saw her today, and she's tripling my Imuran (an auto-immune suppresant), and gonna try and get me authorized to get my remicaid every 6 weeks, instead of every 8. Joy. I also have to get a blood test to check my liver - cause a bad liver will cause bruising. And while I'm on this high a dose of Imuran I have to go in weekly to get a CBC to make sure that the imuran isn't causing problems. :(

So very sorry to hear it. I hope things start to get better for you. :rose:

I use concealed religiously. I was born with dark circles under my eyes. Strangely now that I'm getting older, they seem to be going away! Yay!

Sorry to hear about this beautiful Graceanne!

No, mine are thin. Maybe that's why.
I'm near sighted, but not too much. As in, my eye doctor gets mad if I tell him I drive without my glasses, but I can do it easily.

Sorry about the bruising. I can say that arnica gel rocks. I finally bought some - I have pellets too but haven't taken them yet. Their instructions are confusiing.

Mini bitch - I finally got a set of gel nails
I like enough that I won't pull these ones off - I was just going to get a fill in (these are my third set in a month) and was going to let them grow in...
and one cracked.

I don't know anything about gel nails but I know a great deal about concealing things.

Before I get into that, though I will say about glasses, mine are thin too. Getting glasses when I was 21 was a terrible blow to my ego. I hated that I needed them! I hated wearing them though people said I looked good with them on. I hated in my 21 year way of thinking, being flawed. LOL. Now I can't drive, watch TV or even see the computer screen well enough without them. Thank goodness for glasses!

Now back to concealer try using it followed by a liquid foundation. For me that is the way to go if your glasses are thin. Depending on the type of "dark" circle under you eyes you should try different tints to cover. Here is part of an article about this:

he right concealer can hide just about every imperfection and give you flawless skin. Gently pat concealer on with fingertips, or brush on with a soft flat brush. Anyone who has less than perfect skin needs a good concealer.

Hint: Concealer should cover entire under-eye, including outside of eye to give it lift. The outside of the eye is also prone to redness and dryness.

Liquid concealer is especially recommended for dry skin and for concealing large areas like under-eye circles.

Solid concealer is necessary to hide stubborn pimples, scars and bruises.

A more natural looking concealer is a cream-to-powder foundation. Match it to the shade of liquid or cream foundation.

Hint: With liquid or solid foundation, best results are obtained by using concealer afterwards. When using a cream-to-powder foundation, concealer should go on first.

Expert Tricks

* Add yellow eye shadow to concealer or foundation to conceal dark circles. It will color-correct dark undertones while concealing.

* Blue or green eye shadow added to concealer or foundation will correct ruddy tones and broken capillaries.

* Use the residue in the cap of your foundation as the perfect concealer. It's slightly dehydrated, making it just the right thickness to conceal. And of course, it matches your foundation beautifully!

Hope this helps,

Has anyone ever taken a "steriod pack?"

You have all these damn pills to take all day long. Some before breakfast, which I generally don't get up for or eat, some after lunch, after dinner and bedtime.

Since my schedule doens't include some of these things I've just been spacing them out the best that I can. Does anyone know if this is okay?

Thanks,

Fury :rose:

If you're near sighted, you should be able to drive without your glasses. Well, I guess it depends on how bad they are, but near sighted means you can see things that are near to you and so what is driving but being around things that are near to you.

Now, there might be a car way off in the distance that you can't see, but by the time it gets close enough to you to be dangerous...you can see it, because it's NEAR you. He's probably getting mad because you don't wear your glasses he prescribed. Doctors are weird that way...if they think you should wear them, you should think you should wear them.

I've been near sighted all my life and don't wear glasses. I know I'll have to get glasses before I take my next vision test for driving, though, but that's 2 1/5 years away. I know I'll be fine until then. Cars are pretty damn big. It's not likely I won't see one if it's NEAR me.
 <=== me wearing glasses some day. I'll be cool, man. :D

I feel your pain!

It took me a while to admit to myself that I couldn't read the road signs until I was right up ON them. Oops! What really got me to the eye doctor was when I had a wreck because I hadn't even seen the stop light which was a loooong way away from the stopping point and that scared the shit outta me.

In the last two years I've had to get *gasp* bifocals. My husband couldn't read in bed for pleasure for years because he fought it. So I got them right off but I still haven't adjusted. I take my glasses off to see little print and hold it closer then have to put my glasses on to type the little print onto forms. *sigh*

I wore glasses for years (since I was about 7 or 8) adn 4 years ago had Lasik surgery. Got my eyes back to 20/20 or better. The down part is I still have to wear reading glasses. But that is not too bad considering that I only have to use them about 10% of the time. But i still wear a reading bifocal sometimes with plain glass for the top and magnifying for the bottom. :rose:

BTW Fury I am sure you look cute in your bifocals and you too KC in your new glasses. :rose: :rose:

I went to the MAC counter and they played around with the foundations and concealers and powders and stuff. They gave me the stuff that I need that matches. I'm not particularly worried about it.
I've been feeling really tired and cold lately and I think my iron is low, so that could be why I look fatigued. I've also been told I look pale. I did my unprofessional test of checking circulation around my fingernails (remember I have over 10 years of dealing with this) and I'm pretty sure my iron is low.
I'll have to check the blood test I had a few weeks ago.

I would show you but I don't have the photo editing tools or if I do I don't understand how to use them. *pouts* Did I mention my head hurts?
