Hi N2, let me ramble a bit from my limited experience and perhaps some of this might give you a next step?

Rubber ones just on the root of the cock: seems to me they are a big help to guys whose capacity for a stonking erection has waned some over the years; they can give back to a guy the way he got erect when he was 20. Can they improve on it? For me yes, some. But if they are too tight the discomfort has the opposite effect, and if they are loose the hold-in of the bloodflow in the penis won't happen so they are just decoration. Further, cock-only rings do in my experience reduce the pleasure of ejaculation itself, even if, as per above, they have meanwhile enabled the guy to get it up really well and give a long confident performance.
