Batman? The tick? All good choices my friends......but come on....just take a look at spidey.....what a guy.
Spiderman kicks ass. Cool web shooters, the ability to cling to any surface, that neato spider sense. What more to I have to say?

Spider-Man was a crybaby. "Uncle Ben! I let you down Uncle Ben but I'll always remember and keep repeating that with great power comes great yadda yadda yadda."
Seriously, Batman all the way. What makes him even more cool is that he's a regular human with no powers. All he has to count on are those basic human skills that took him years to master. That, and he has the coolest villians. Villians can help to make the hero, in my opinion.

I'm not totally "up" on Spiderman, but didn't he get bitten by a spider of some sort and it transformed him into a human with arachnid characteristics?
Well, a spider's web comes from it's ass. So why does Peter Parker's come from his wrists?

Ash from the Evil Dead Trilogy is the best super hero.... Period.
By far... He's smarter than the lot of them(yeah sure you believe that). No one can handle the Deadites better than Ash.
For those not educated in Evil Dead
He has a chainsaw for his right hand, his hand went "bad" and he had to cut it off. A sawed-off shot gun is his other weapon. He was the lone survior of a battle with the ultimate evil. and In the end he's sent back to the medieval times.
(bah! I was trying to find a cool pic. I'll post one later, but for now)

Ren, come on...that utility belt does it in for him...."Robin! Hand me the Bat shark repelant!" OMG! Yes, I know, spidey had a cheesy 70's show, but it wasnt that bad!
And spidey has cool villians too. Venom, Carnage, Hobgoblin, Greengoblin, Kingpin, The punisher (for like one issue, but whose countin?) Shriek, Carrion, Ummm, wait, let me think, I know there's more......

Granted about the 70's T.V. show, but you gotta admit that the Batman: The Animated Series and Batman: Beyond shows were MUCH better then the Spider-Man cartoon and Spider-Man Unlimited. Especialy since the earlier Spider-Man cartoon did a bad job of mixing the computer animation with the cel animation.
Two words dude: The Joker. Can you name a villain that's more interesting then the Clown Prince of Crime?? There are some other greats, but the Joker is just twisted. He NEVER has those "Am I going too far" moments that many villains have which knocks them down a notch on the "evil" scale. He's just one sick and twisted little SOB. A great villain that no Spider-Man villain can truly live up to.
Spidey's cool, but Batman's my pick.

I can't pick the 'best' superhero...
I can pick a favoret, (spiderman) but i know he has his weaknesses and like all superhero's has been beaten on occation. most of the X-men come in second for me.
