I wish I could do this privately but edmead does not allow this so here goes.

Exact what is the name of the wife in this story and who is the friend.

The story begins with Tori as the wife name and Samantha as the friend name.

Then halfway it changes to Tori being the friend and Samantha being the wife.

I think you started this story one day and finished it another day and simply forgot who was who. That is somewhat common amoung writers.

I done once myself and only once. Some of my stories on other sites average about 20 characters. Imagine what would happen if I lost touch like that. I use notes and index cards to help me keep things straight. I give each character a seperate card. One the card the name is prominent - then a brief synopsis of the character is there. Using this trick I can even decide exactly who will be in which scene.

In the future try to keep the characters straight.

That's probably why the story got such a low rating (2.51).

But if you're hoping the author is going to see your message, I would guess the chances of that occurring is highly unlikely. His forum profile page doesn't show any posts by him, which indicates to me that he isn't active on the forums.

I understand this.

Most story archive sites that have forums are like that.

They have tons of writers and only a small percentage of them pay attention to the forum or the writer profile page. The non writers who go to these sites mostly are looking for something good to read.

Writing up a story challenge on these sites are huge problem cause a lot of good writers dont pay attention the site's forum sections.

Sigh..I also suspect the authors that turn off their incoming comments did so because they kept getting negative feedback and they are too stubborn to try to learn from them.

But I would too if I post anything here. After reading the comments from some of the god stories here, no one seems to know how to write a good and constructive comment. Then the comments degrade from there to peronal attacks against the author and the other commentors.

Well I was just was hoping though.

Thanks,

John
