The best thing I bought today. With the holidays coming I had been putting off my eye exam to get my new contacts and living with my glasses with an old prescreption and a slightly broken arm.

Well today and, my honey thinks I did it on purpose, my glasses broke beyond repair in the car so I got the exam today and got contacts again.

I've been putting off having an eye exam. It's becoming painfully obvious that I'm going to need glasses, and I don't want them! Actually, I have an old pair from about 10 years ago, but I never wore them when they were new, and they hurt my eyes now. *sigh* I just hated how there was always a spec of dust dancing in front of my eyes, so I'd be constantly cleaning them. ugh.

Uhm... I still haven't found my glasses but i found my contacts... heheheee... Man I forgot... That rubbing your eyes is a baddddd thing

I need to get contacts. My glasses are really thick and I am so tired of being referred to as coke bottle. Anybody know anywhere besides America's Best where I can get contacts fairly cheap???? I don't feel like paying 24-0something to get contacts here on post, and America's Best is only 99 which includes the exam.

Damn. Now you can actually see what I look like. There goes my big chance.

Like I could see you anyway you dont have a picture to send. Already told you, that it sounds like you look yummy to me. Love the beard.

I recently got my first pair of glasses. Progressive lenses and I can't see a thing I look at. By the time I find it I'm a little dizzy. lol I REALLY don't like getting old!!!!!

My glasses are really thick, too. I have had them since the third grade, and I can't imagine not reaching for them in the morning. You can get an idea from the pict on my profile.

Last week I had an exam by a doctor who guarentied 20/20 after laser treetmant. He is same guy that did Tiger Woods' eyes, so I guess he's prety good. Finding the $2500 is another issue. Sure is tempting.

I have been looking into the lasik procedure, but it is still too expensive. I wear glasses because I can't wear contacts anymore. Would love to ditch the glasses because they just don't look right with my Faire costumes. I know quite a few people who have had the lasik & love it.

I would love to have the procedure since I cannot stretch my arm out and see my finger tips clearly but money is an issue here too.

God, how many people say that??? I know that I would love to have the eye surgery. But being a military spouse, means little to no money around. Although, Tricare will pay for most of it. <g> I just have to find a way to come up with 900 bucks <g>
