I was reading one of those "our daughters joined us in the marriage bed" stories and afterwards wondered what the logistics become later.

What if you can't send the girls back to their own beds? And you SURE can't send ONE, so you are squeezing four adults into one bed. Sure, you might just buy two kingsize sets, but how do you keep them together? The mattress superwarehouse doesn't exactly stock the right frame.

The solution might be to go to a local carpenter and special order a bed frame, headboard, footboard, etc.

Except after he builds the bed, the bedmaker wonders just why you need a frame that large....

Depends on how comfortable they are together.

A person who does not cuddle takes up anywhere from two to four feet of bed across. Cuddlers take up less space.

Sleeping crossways the largest is 86 inches, and I assume you don't need more than 6 feet length.

My friendly local restaurant manager assures me that they can feed adult people in their banqueting area at 20 inches per person, possibly just a little tighter.
