What is Scotland's National animal?

Unicron, who later appeared as a Transformer.

Don't tell me I'm wrong. We both know I'm right.

It ain't Sweden, I think. I was actually talking to a chap about this a couple of weeks back, monarchies and so on, British and his native Dutch, but the Danes I believe hold claim to the longest continual European monarchy.

You watch me be wrong.

I'm not sure about the last question.

Which US president is honored in the wrestling hall of fame?

It was from the idea that the love of money is the root of all evil, and it was originally a contraction of dolorous.

Wait, what? This isn't Call My Bluff?
Damn it...

False 😁 it comes from the Flemish or Low German daler, and the German T(h)aler.

What country’s flag is the mirror (reverse?) image of the Ivory Coast? LOL

Jumping in to say I got confirmation from Avery that the oldest continual monarchy in Europe is in fact Danish.

I'll leave the vexillology question for someone else, since I don't know the Ivory Coast flag without googling, which would take all the fun out of this :D

It’s very easy, if you consider who asked the question 😉

Germany, I guess? Although I cheated and looked at your profile after your comment.

Today is Victory Day (formerly V-J Day) celebrating the American victory over Japan in WWII. Which is the only US state that still considers this a holiday (for some reason)?

Last I check, Rhode Island.

T or F

A Canadian naval aviator received a posthumous VC for single handedlly sinking a Japanese cruiser on Aug. 9 1945?

No, it’s the Republic of Ireland (where I was born)

No idea, I’m going with no as the 9th of August was known as the day the atomic bomb was dropped on Nagasaki.

In what year did Prince Charles marry Lady Diana Spencer?

Rhode Island was correct and I’m going to say true as to the naval aviator. I seem to recall that story but don’t know the date so if you’re trying to be tricky about that part, you got me.

Both are correct, one does vastly overshadow the other.

Lt Robert Gray sank the cruiser Amakusa single-handedly on Aug 9 1945, he was hit and crashed into the sea.

That’s quite incredible (but I do believe you)

Charles and Diana was 1981

Yup, correct. Diana was 19 when she married big ears.

Margaret Thatcher’s death was celebrated in parts of the UK and Ireland with street gatherings - true or false?

True.

How many names are inscribed on the Vimy Memorial, and why are they inscribed there?

I haven’t a notion. Do tell.

When was the Berlin Wall built and why?

Over 11000. Those are the names of the Canadians who dies in WW1 in France but have no known grave.

Depending on your time zone construction began today in 1961. Built to stop the movement from communist controlled East Berlin to Capitalist controlled West Berlin.

I did not know that HB.

Excellent answer. Full marks for that.

How many sectors was Berlin divided into and can you name them?
