A couple days ago I was watching a documentary about Gordon Lightfoot titled, "If You Could Read My Mind." He was not an artist on my radar growing up, although I had heard The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald enough that I knew the lyrics. This song from the title got stuck in my head, and I looked for it on YouTube because those haunting lyrics would not leave my head. When I heard the first verse of the song in its entirety, I thought, "Damn. This could totally be @HeavyBalls's theme song!" Not only is Gordon Lightfoot a Canadian national treasure, but those lyrics...

In a castle dark, or a fortress strong

I think I had heard a disco cover of the song; the original came out the year I was born, and I'm pretty old now...
