The Beach

James

He decided the kitchen would be constructed in two phases…the first being the fire pit, with a tripod and grill over it for cooking, and a few basins to hold fresh water.

The next phase would take much longer, but MacGyver himself would be proud of the plan – depending on how close that stream came to the beach here, determined a lot of things though. But overall, he was sure he could provide a sink, grill, basic oven, and the grilling pit, as well as plenty of cabinet storage. Bowls and cups could be made, but pots and pans would indeed need to be bought from the mainland, as well as utensils.

He patted himself on the back for his plan…and he knew that at least the people here on the island would appreciate his efforts.

“Janice, you’re gonna love me by the time I’m through,
” He grinned and walked off to get started with choosing a site to begin construction, and then to gather materials.

Edward stood, watching the conversation and frezied scribbles, quetly and slowly eating his fish. He chuckled to himself as James wandered of. "That bloke's nuts" he commented idly.

Finishing his fish, he put his place with the other used plate. "Nice cooking Janice. Keep it up and you'll have the whole beach trading favours four your food" He grinned up at her.

"How, it's such a nice day I think I'll go work on my boat..."

"Fresh mangoes! How wonderful!"

I grinned at Spycey and nodded as she mentioned the fresh stream, and the ease of making dishes.

"Okay, good. Thank you, that would be great if you could help us out by making dishes."

“Janice, you’re gonna love me by the time I’m through,”

I grinned at James.

"I'm holding you to that!"

"Nice cooking Janice. Keep it up and you'll have the whole beach trading favours four your food"

I giggled at Edward.

"Ah, I don't need anything like that. I'm happy to do it."

He went off to work on his boat, and I was left by the fire with Spycey. Together we peeled mangoes.

"I'd make a pie or a cobbler, but I don't think we have any flour, or sugar."

I shrugged. There was a lot more to making a living community than just moving away from the rest of the world. Sure, we have fish, fresh water, salt (we can get that out of the salt water from the ocean) wood, and of course pot. But we didn't have any domestic animals. No meat, no eggs, no milk. No wheat or corn. It was going to be a challenge, and as the only one who seemed to have any interest in the practical aspects of food preparation and production here ... I suspected I realized more sharply than the others just how challangeing it was really going to be ....

Spycey giggled at the men's jokes as they left. She winked at Janice as she sat down to help peel mangoes. "Looks like you have some admirers, hun!" She nods, breaking the juicy fruit into chunks and laying them on palm fronds spread out on the sand. "Sure, I can help with dishes. Do we want to have some of this dried for later? The sun is hot enough, and truth is it may attract some veggie eating critters laying out here. In other words, meat...if I can get lucky." She grins and jumps up, running to the tree with a "hold on!" Reaching behind the tree, she pulls out a long stick. Bringing it back with a proud smile, she shows Janice how she took a sharpened shell and lashed it to the stick with thin vines, making a crude spear. "Dunno if I should blame survivor or Lord of the Flies for this, but whatever combined with the pot, and had me make this." She examines it carefully, though she made it, and shrugs her shoulders. "It could work...."

Such a wonderful day. I could do this for the rest of my life. Time to build a sand castle! I rolled over on my side and began brushing sand into a pile.

Johnathan had met Aliyah and Janice on his business trip to Thailand. He already did the sex junket, so was more interested in sightseeing during the few days he had left. His eye wandered towards attractive women, and they had told him about the island. After they left, he met up with Spycey. As much as they flirted, he had to thank her and leave abruptly, an interruption from his work disrupting his trip.

But the project had ended, and he had time for himself. He was not an incompetent sailor, but realized that it's hard to just "meet up" at an island. No cell phones here. So, pragmatically, he sailed around until he saw another boat, and landed his.

He landed from the boat. The young man was handsomely built, in his early twenties. It was warm, so he took of his shirt and vest, leaving on a thin t-shirt exposing his muscular chest. He changed into his swimming trunks, that showed off his muscular thighs. The sun felt warm against his skin.

He studied the boat next to his. While his small boat was purchased, he noticed that the boat next to him was not quite like those he looked at while shopping. It had the basics, but was either customized, or hand-made. He then eyed the blonde woman on the beach. She wore shorts and a t-shirt that showed off her body. He noticed she was better tanned and more muscular than the city types he met back in Thailand.

He walked up to her, and introduced himself. "My name is Johnathan. I'm friends with Aliyah and Janice and they invited me here. That's a very interesting boat you have there. And would you like help building your sand castle?" His wandering eyes looked into those of the beautiful woman. And there was no Thailand to distract him.

OOC: Burying in the sand... a cozy tour of the boat... hmm...

OOC: I like your concept of my boat much better than the one I was imagining. I think I'll do a rethink and/or rewrite. Thanks.

Sarah admired his physical qualities as she sized him up. She quickly jumped to her feet. Then she remembered she was completely naked. She took a deep breath to make her voice more steady.

"Oh hello," she held out her hand. "I'm glad you like my boat. My name is Sarah. Is this your first visit to the island?"

"Indeed it is. I didn't know it's residents were so... carefree." Johnathan smiled again at the young lady. "Well, let me join you then. Please close your eyes." Johnathan turned around and began to strip, letting his shorts fall to the ground and taking off his t-shirt. He touched her hand and said, "You may open your eyes." He had turned around, showing his smooth ass to anyone -- and he hoped her -- seeing it. He turned his head and asked, "I hope you don't mind showing your boat to me. I would like to know more about it, and," smiling again, "its creator."

The absence of Johnathan's clothes did seem put her more at ease. She secretly marveled at the tight fitness of his body. His cock hung shamelessly. Semi erect it was already as long as her hand.

Sarah considered his words. She kind of suspected he might have ulterior motives. But the carefree spirit of the island made her want to take her chances.
"I am very flattered that you like my boat. It will be an honor to show it to you."
Sarah gently lifted his hand, leading him to the ladder.

Johnathan thanked the woman and climbed up the ladder. He stood on the small deck, and held on to the mast. He assumed it was principly a one or two person boat, and peered at the ocean. The warm breezed caressed his body, and his manhood lazed in the wind. He looked at her, her soft face and muscular body. He thought her breasts looked a little firmer. His own influence, perhaps? Gripping the rail of the boat he kneeled, motioning her to do the same. "This is a very beautiful boat you have. Almost as beautiful as her captain. Please, do show me more."

"Admirers? Oh dear. I hope that doesn't cause any problems for the island! We need a community, after all ...."

"Sure, dried fruit will help. The fishermen when they go out can take fruit with them to munch on while fishing. You are in charge of pottery and mangoes."

I giggled. She suddenly grins and leaps up with "Hold on!" She returns with a stick mounting a sharpened shell.

"Dunno if I should blame survivor or Lord of the Flies for this, but whatever combined with the pot, and had me make this ... It could work...."

"Genius! I like it. Umm.. ok, you are in charge of dishes, mangoes, and spears."

I smile widely. Spycey always made me smile. Her energy and her sense of humor always brightened my day.

"I'm glad you decided to come with us."

Spycey grinned proudly. "I'm glad too! Back in Cali I was just an average surfer slash med student, but here! Here I am..." She brandishes the spear like He-Man and intones "Queen of Fruit, Pottery, and Spears!" She laughs and falls back into the sand, pulling Janice down with her. "Bow to your Queen! Without me you would have no fruit or dishes to eat it from!" She begins tickling Janice playfully, having tossed the spear asside to avoid any injuries.

I EEP! and giggle as she pulls me down to the sand, squirming.

"Hey, hey!"

I sputter, and try to tickle her in return, any concern I might have had for the real viability of this community gone in the fun of the moment ... the real reason we did this after all, to get away from the world. If it didn't work ... hell, we'd have fun while it lasted!

Aliyah

I led Aliyah out to the rock formation. The currents were not strong and it was a easy swim. Once there I grabbed hold of the formation and said, "Right below us under the water about 10 feet is a entrance to a dry cave. Its pretty cool wanna take a quick peak. I have already brought dry torches and candles along with an underwater flashlight. Just grab my hand and I will lead you through its not far at all."

I looked at him suspiciously.

"A dry cave, huh? Sounds like a good place to have some privacy," I smirked, once again wondering what his plan was. Just because we were both naked didn't mean we were going to have sex, yet. Although I did find myself extremely attracted to him. Was he trying to impress me with his 'find'?

"Ok," I said. "Show me then." I offered him my hand.

Edward whistled to himself as he casually strolled down the beack to a small cove where he had stashed his personalised boat. He kept it out of the way not through fear of anyone using it, but more along the lines of that they would probably llaugh at him for building a fishing boat with a screen of leaves on poles set into it to block out the sun

They'd probably go on about how he was a stupid typical Englishman, more used to snow than sun. Of course, they'd be right.

Grabbing the tools he had left there the other night, Edward started to work on preparing his 'shadey-boat- for sea-worthieness

Spycey squeals and rolls away from Janice, covering herself up. She laughs and stretches out then, catching her breath. Looking up at the sky, blue as a robin's egg, waving palm fronds, she couldnt help but smile. "Janice, this place is great! We dont ever have to go back, do we?"

I grin, looking over at Spycey.

"No hon, we don't ever have to go back. Never, ever."

I sigh softly, hopefully softer than she can hear. I am not certain of my answer. But I want that to be the truth. I don't ever want to go back.

"Say, feel like swimming? The water looks nice, and I'm feeling like taking a break from cooking...."

James had chosen a nice place to begin construction – shaded by trees on two sides, protected from most wind except that straight off the sea. He had dug the pit himself, and erected the tripod over it. They would need materials for a proper grill, but when those came, it would fit nicely over the stone walled pit.

That work had only brought him through until lunch, his short breaks he spent looking at Janice and Spycey interact and play. It was funny, and they were hot.

Cabinets came next…and he hoped helped would come for that task, as he started gathering lumber with which to work.

Spycey looked at her legs, coated in sand, and grimaced. "Yeah, a swim sounds good." She turns to Janice, her green eyes sparkling. "Can you surf? I still got my board!"

"I've never tried surfing. I mean, it always looked fun. Never had anyone to teach me."

I grinned widely, standing and stripping off the long shirt I had been cooking in.

"Grab your board then, and let's do it!"

I grin at her as I step away from the shirt ....

Spycey runs and gets the board from where she slept last night, as well as the remains of her joint. She comes back, sparking it up. Taking a hit she offers it to Janice, then tucks the board under her arm and heads out to the water.

I grin softly, taking a hit from the joint, and then running after Spycey to the water. I wade into the water, leap in, and swim out a good distance, then tread water, looking back to see Spycey and wait for her to come out to the water ....

Spycey isnt far behind, stradling the board and using her hands as paddles. She smiles and moves back, making room on the board. Holding her hand out to Janice, she explains "Tandem is a good way to learn. It's how dad taught me. You just get on, and let me do the work the first time."

"Tandem is a good way to learn. It's how dad taught me. You just get on, and let me do the work the first time."

I grin, and let her pull me up to the board. I straddle the board, shivering slightly at the board's feeling against my bare body. I look back to her, and smile.

"Okay, you got me. Teach me."

I turn back forward, but ever so slightly scootch back on the board toward her ....

Spycey grins. "You all make me feel over-dressed! Ok, we just wait for a good wave and then watch what I do." She looks back and sees a good wave aproaching, not so big as to scare a newbie. Paddling quickly to keep up, she catches the wave. "Hold on tight, and tuck your legs up on the board!" She yells as she stands up, adjusting her ballance for the extra weight. Skillfully she weaves in and out, riding the wave smoothly back to shore. Laughing, she looks at Janice. "Well, what do you think? Still wanna learn?"

I glance back, grabbing on tightly and tucking my legs up on the board as Spycey suggests. I sense her stand, balancing, and moving her boIdy and the board, back and forth, and we ride the wave: It is exhilarating, and I am grinning widely by the time the board returns to shore.

"That was ... amazing! Sure, I'd love to learn!!"
