...perhaps this will be a new conversation or at the very least not a recent one.

The bastinado has become a deep love of mine through my new 24/7 slave. Though he seems to have a love hate relationship with this form of corporal punishment it is love all the way for me.

The simplicity of the brutality feeds my sadistic hungers without the complications of rifling through hundreds of toys to find just the 'right' instrument to satisfy my needs to deliver excruciating pain without much effort.

I have a female friend who has foot torture as a hard limit for the very same reasons. Very reasonable reasons indeed. I am in agreement about the ticklish element as well from a personal point of view though using the tickle technic is great for a sadist ~~grin~~

Hello Stell_Omega, how nice to hear about your enjoyment of this not so often used method. When it works for you it is a real basic turn on. I find it builds my passion to be relentlessly sadistic for hours on end, with my imagination knowing no boundaries.

Bruises do not seem to be too common though tenderness is desired, from my side of the stick of course.

He has a penchant for using whatever he can lay his hands on, and there was a period a while back when he used two paint sticks like a drummer (in various places across my whole body - not just the soles of my feet). I loved the sensation, it was very pleasurable, and when he periodically snuck in the full force snaps, it just added another dimension to the experience.

Sounds a little scary to me....although if it were you causing the pain I'm sure it would be enjoyable. I suppose that much trust would have to be in place for me to not be afraid of having that done to me.

I am quite pleasantly surprised to see this form of corporal punishment taking off in all places I am mentioning it in.

Though the pain can be thudding I hear more feed back about it being stingy...though mileage differs I am sure due to personal tolerance and instruments used.

I can also see how a bond can deepen from that type of pain. You start it and end it and in between I would be at your mercy.
