I've been playing around with ideas for a story involving a charity auction for kinky people in which various submissive types are auctioned off for an evening.

I can imagine this has been done a number of times as it is a simple concept, but I think there are some interesting possibilities and always room for novel concepts.

I'm thinking the main character (still consider whether it would be a man, woman, or couple) takes home a shy young woman who is both quite introverted and submissive.

I'm interested in what people think, and where they would like a story like this to go.

If she is "both quite introverted and submissive" why did she volunteer for the auction in the first place?

I associate more with doms. Though my thought was the story would be written in third person.

The first permutation I thought of was that a couple places the high bid, and the wife is really dominant. The wife especially gets off on humiliating other women, though she somewhat dominates the husband as well. This sets up a scene where the husband sneaks the sub out once the wife has fallen asleep, and gets all the pent up drive to engage in some rough and animalistic fucking out of his system.

Second Life can be fun, it depends greatly on what you find enjoyment in, there really is no actual game to it it is just a chat engine with a pretty good background. You find things to do in there, some people play at DJing, some people play live music, some build and operate a club, at a loss of money. There are people looking to host events at a club, some people create artwork, or buildings, some create clothes I do that on a rather limited basis. That is not all of it either, there are guns that work, cars that you can drive, some will fly, there are aircraft that work, you can get into dogfights in Star Wars vehicles, and other things. There is a huge and i do mean huge sex market, mostly in the making and buying of sex items, personal dick cause everyone comes in as Ken or Barbie, animations to have sex is the huge market. You can buy and sell real estate though that market is basically controlled by one woman, you can work as an escort, camgirl or voice sex though the actual market for those is limited, the biggest item though is roleplay, you can be a vampire there are regions to play that, a victim of a vampire, you can be a demon hunter, a jedi a sith, harry potter, gor is well represented if you say like that along with the fantasy side, old england mages and elves and dragons, the dragons are really impressive. A big area for furries, if you think you should be a skunk or cat or whatever there are places for it.

Sorry, somehow the description "a shy young woman who is both quite introverted and submissive" made me think that she was not yet into the scene, and certainly not pre-owned. To my mind a shy slave is an oxymoron in any society where slavery is optional, because a shy person would never get into the life-style in the first place. Of course, where slavery is legal then shyness is no bar to being enslaved.

I kind of disagree, with the internet everything can be looked up so even a shy woman would be able to find out about this stuff and even where to go to meet people into it. I am pretty sure just showing up to one would get her looked at and probably have her pick of guys or gals to dominate her.

On a slightly side note, BDSM has a rather large following in second life, it seems to be second only to getting sex items in popularity. Entirely possible this shy woman plays this, finds a dominate in that and say, tells her to do the auction because he or she would be there and buy her.

I wonder how many shy women do go real-life sub. (Maybe that's something I'll ask in a BDSM thread.)

I believe I know that there are a lot of shy women who are interested in some level in being subs as I have conversed with them virtually on the boards, PMs, and in response to stories I have written involving submissive women. (I realize it is possible they might be pulling my leg. For all I know they all could be gregarious men with a weird fetish for portraying them in ways opposite reality. But it seems unlikely.)

However, my real world experience in this domain is limited.

Everyone has a certain interest in it if you simply explain it to them in the right way. The hard part is finding which parts of it interest the person you are talking to.

I beleive that is the reason it is so popular online, expecially in things like Second Life, there really is little chance of say, your online master showing up at your door saying come with me slave you are mine now, unless you tell him where you live. This of course is assuming the guy or woman is not a hacker and your ISP provider does mask your actual address, I checked on this one once, said I lived in Chicago.

Anyway for all intents and purposes right now, the internet and games on it are safe ways to try out fantasies without risking your life or health. Which means the shy women are all over the place online, some may wish to take things to their actual bedroom, some are actually married and simply trying it out online because they have not told their husband and so forth.

I think the story would be more interesting if she was not pre-owned. This would open a whole wealth of possibilities into why she did it in the first place, and how the experience changes her life. Was she tricked? Was she curious? Is the experience what she thought or hoped it would be?

Frankly, if she's pre-owned, it would be unlikely that any part of the experience would be new to her, particularly if she's controlled to the degree that she'd agree to this in the first place. These stories have far more impact--and are a lot hotter, in my opinion--when it's something totally new and unexptected for the submissive.

I agree that if the girl is already somebody's sub, it makes it less interesting. Much better if she's an innocent who gets dragged into that world. She'd be shy and quiet and be generally submissive in her day-to-day life, and sexually naive, though not necessarily a virgin. Maybe she works for a forceful, aggressive boss, who is somehow connected to the charity auction, maybe through his wife. There's a shortage of willing participants, so he bullies the poor girl into putting herself in the auction. She's not keen, but she's weak-willed and easily persuaded. It's a normal charity auction (not strictly for the kinky BDSM crowd) but the girl's submissive nature is picked up on by several men in the crowd and a bidding war ensues. Of course, being totally naive, the poor girl would be unaware of what the auction actually entails, and what her duties are once she's been bought. Her new owner would tell her that she is his for the night, to do with as he pleases. He'll tell her that she has to obey completely, or the deal is off and he'd be entitled to get his money back, therefor denying the starving kids of Africa a new well or whatever. Also the girl would be worried that her disobedience would get back to her boss. So she goes along with it, doing whatever she's told, no matter how painful or humiliating.
