Thanks again to everyone who voted, submitted, or was involved in Literotica in any way. You are all awesome! Isn’t it fun to finally have a monthly contest with winners from so many different categories?

And please, since this is the Story Feedback forum we ask you to post your feedback to both the winning authors and to A. I. R. right here on this thread.

NOTES: 1) Winning stories in the NUDE DAY contest were not eligible to win the monthly contest.
2) Chaptered stories are not eligible for monthly prizes except in the “most comments” category.
3) Stories with voting and/or comments turned off are not eligible for prizes.
4) 200 votes was the minimum requirement for the “highest rated” category. Eligible stories were then multiplied by the category correction coefficient to find the winner.
5) Authors are only eligible for one prize in any monthly contest.

Hey everyone, FYI find below the projected winners in the LITEROTICA July 2010 Monthly Contest based on figures available today. Of course post month end adjustments done by the palace may change these results. These prizes will be announced in 12-18 months from now. As you’ll see it’s more of the same old stuff – chaptered Sci-Fi and Non Human.

It will be interesting checking back next year when the winners are finally announced to see if these stories actually win or not.

[size=+2]Projected July 2010 LITEROTICA Reader's Choice Award Winners

First Place :

Second Place:
When Worlds Collide Ch 14 / JazCullen 4.92 368

Third Place:

Grand_High_Poobah is Scouries in a blow up doll suit, one of his many alts.

Since there is no such thing as the ASSOCIATION of INDEPENDENT READERS (A.I.R.) associated with or from Lit, except in scouries head, it can't sanction anything but the usual hot air.

Since scouries and company can't win a real Literotica contest, he makes up his own list of winners.

Gabby, Have you been using Jim's crystal balls to make your predictions, again? I'm going to bookmark this and mark my calendar for next year.

What a wonderful surprise! I can’t think of anything better than waking up on a Sunday morning and finding out that I’ve won an A.I.R. award.

To know that readers around the world have chosen to single out one of my works for the highest award in EROTIC FICTION is a truly humbling experience.

I would like to thank the ASSOCIATION of INDEPENDENT READERS for their continuing efforts to encourage writing excellence and their willingness to commit their resources to achieve this important literary goal.

And of course I’d like to say thank you to the thousands of readers who’ve taken the time to vote and comment on my stories. It’s your encouragement that makes it all worthwhile.

Thank you!

QUOTE miss sin Gabby, Have you been using Jim's crystal balls to make your predictions, again?

No crystal balls were required my dear. Instead I used jim’s magic wand…

No seriously, all you have to do is go to the HIGHEST RATED stories page. Click highest rated in the LAST 30 DAYS tab and there you are. Today it will show you the highest rated stories in July. All you have to do is find the hhighest rated three stories that have received a minimum of 50 votes (the LITEROTICA minimum for monthly winners) and there you have it.

And about 12 months from now, with great fanfare, they’ll be announced.

Or will they? That's the $150 question...

FANFARE? Not even an email goes out!

Ask Jim if he passes that wand around for others to use as I might want to make a wish of my own.

On a different subject: Freddie :D says my new AV makes me look like an...ass. What do you think?

Well the boss said this morning (please don't quote him) that your AV even kicked KillerMuffins ass... and that's saying something...

Manu and I would like to thank all the authors who submitted during the month, and all the other months for that matter! We've tallied the reader's votes, and are happy to announce the winners of our June People's Choice Awards.

First Place ($150 Cash Prize Winner):
Beyond The Veil Ch. 05 / slyc_willie

Second Place ($100 Cash Prize Winner):
Dancing Ch. 02 / ingarlm

Third Place ($75 Cash Prize Winner):
The Perfect Game Ch. 03 / Tx Tall Tales

Thanks again to everyone who voted, submitted, or was involved in Literotica in any way. You are all awesome!

Did you see last July’s LITEROTICA monthly prize results (the 2009 ones)? They’re just out today.

Congratulations to Tx Tall Tales! BTW he’s a 1000+ VOTE CLUB MEMBER.

But lets face it, it just the same old, same old! Sci-Fi, Gay and Group. All chapters in longer stories. Too bad LAUREL :cattail: isn’t prepared to show the overall score for the complete story. Maybe when the 2010 July winners are announced they’ll turn out to be later chapters in the same stories. Under the present rules that would be allowed. Just imagine!

It is interesting to note how this years A.I.R. AWARDS seem to have produced much more representative winners isn’t it?
