if it's longer than a few days, I need up to 6 weeks. That's how far in advance I schedule. Lately, I've been going on 3-4 night trips that I can arrange by working 3 days in a row at work.
It's something you get used to when your SO lives 500 miles away.

oysters. I can swallow a lot of things (take that however you want) but if you need to swallow it without letting it touch your mouth, it's not food.

Though I am a considerate host, guest, or companion I have come to realize I cannot really change who other people experience, so I just my time based on my experiences.

No, my bed is parallel to the bedroom door and faces the window. (I like to look outside both as I fall asleep and as I wake up.)

With a few exceptions, I much prefer to say in hotels. I do have a couple of friends abroad where the relationship is such that I stay at their houses - but they all have real guest rooms, LOL. I do not couch camp anymore.

It depends on where I'm going, why I'm going, and who is paying for the trip. If work is paying, they expect us to share a room. If I'm going with my SO.. we'll either share the room or get a suite so that i can have my own room. If any of his children are also along, I will just have my own room.
