When I was about 10, I was given a black and white TV with rabbit ears....that I could put into my room and watch....I was in HEAVEN! I'd stay up late and watch the old spooky TV shows that started at 11:30.....great fun...

i do indeed....the last time i did it was a couple years ago on the day of my dad's funeral....it was a freezing day and by 4pm we were in the midst of a blizzard....later i decided to go for a walk in the fresh snow and when i got home i decided to build a snowwoman.....i think my neighbours thought i was mad building a snowwoman at 10pm but it was something that just helped me deal with the day's events.

Sort of...not so much hand made, but creatively made....Last year, I made two books and had them printed...one was for my kids, with a number of pictures of vacation scenes I had collected as they were growing up - with my providing commentary on them. The other was a family history book. The kids had wanted to know more about the family...so I went to the OLD pictures (starting in the 1920's) and put together a photo book with explanations of names and relations. Both were very well received.
