So theres a show in the Netherlands called 'de Bondgenoten' (translates roughly to 'The Alliance')
I think this doesn't have an international version, or at least not yet as far as I can find. But who knows, lots of dutch reality TV shows go international, but anyway I'll explain the show and then how I think it could be made sexual.

Concept is simple, 4 teams of 4 people (16 people in total) live in a villa together.
The teams compete for points, and have to buy their food and luxuries with those points.

At the end of each month the bottom team has to vote out a player. The top rated team has 2 members face of in the final and the winner wins 100.000 euro's and leaves the villa as well. These players are then replaced by new ones.

If players forfeit and leave their team loses 25% of their points (if it's the second player to forfeit from that team, 33,3%, basically their 'share' of the points) That player is replaced after the 'final' of that month.

The start of the new month, the players make new teams again, so they do not have to stay with the same people.

There are 3 types of challanges.
1. Points challange, all teams participate, winner gets 250 points, second place 100, third 50 and fourth 0.
2. Direct challange, a random selected team has to challange another team for 10, 25 or 50% of their points.
3. House challange, everyone works together to earn something for the entire villa.

So I thought, this could easily be transformed into a sexual story.
I would make every team 2 men and 2 women, and all the challanges sexual, even dive into fetishes.

There are many such shows on German TV, maybe not identical to your Alliance, but with a combination of the elements, and also many of them with sexual themes. To make it really spicy, it would have to be an internet show behind a paywall.

If this is interesting for me depends on the way the story goes. It offers the potential of many varied sex scenes that don't need much emotional build-up. Basically you could create a set of characters with different sexual traits (Curvy, porny, innocent, pursuing various fetishes, being bi, etc.) Then you permutate them. You would end up with a series of episodic scenes that are pretty much stroke stories, connected by the scoring system. It would probably work on Lit, but I would consider this flat.

For me, a story gets interesting if there is some conflict and emotional struggle.

My approach would be to take the POV of one of the contestants as he/she navigates the show's challenges. Maybe start off with someone who is initially sexually shy, but in order to win, she must become bolder and bolder.

I would enhance the scoring system by giving some points via "sympathy votes", which allow for some nice power play and mutual obligations.

Yeah I was thinking of focusing on a different person/group each chapter. To display different struggles for different people. I don't want to stick strictly to the challanges, but also want to write about the time spend there in between the challanges since they have to buy their food with their points I think there could be interesting dynamics there.

So far I know I want a team of 2 young studs and 2 smoking hot slutty girls (a ballerina and a cheerleader.)
Another team of 2 older experienced guys, a mature very sensual woman and a shy girl who signed up for the money and thinks she can do it because she had sex with her ex-boyfriend, so very inexperienced and the focus of the first chapter.
Other 2 teams I haven't decided on yet.

For the first points challange I was thinking a stamina test, a woman from each group has to grab onto their own legs below the knees, They get fucked and aren't allowed to lose balance. Whoever keeps standing the longest wins, of course the ballerina nails (and gets nailed) this challange and wins, the experienced woman ends up in second place.

Now they go into the challange, which will happen the next morning at 1:00 PM the top team gets to challange first and challanges the experienced team. However this will be a blowjob competition, a woman from each team has to suck a man from the other team (No hands), first man to cum loses, if after 5 minutes there is no winner yet, contestants may start using their hands to assist them. The young stud thinks he has this in the bag since the inexperienced shy girl has to blow him and the cheerleader will be blowing the experienced guy. The men aren't allowed to cum from 8:00 AM in the morning

The sly older contestants have a plan though. The man doesn't shower and between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM he fucks the experienced woman in his team in her ass. However the shy girl has learned a trick from her experienced team mate. It still a bit shaky, but I think the experienced older people taking in the shy inexperienced girl and teaching her is a nice premise for the first chapter/cycle. I do want to mix the storylines of 3/4 characters for the first cycle, one of them being the winner and exiting the show, the other will carry through.

I do want that emotional connection but also a bit of freedom to play around focussing on different characters.

The problem with this idea is that the story will be nearly constanty be bogged down with the rules of the game. I think from a readers persprective, that will get old by page two.

Yes, there is the problem with the rules, but that can be turned into an advantage. As the rules are explained, the contestants start to ponder how to approach this. Nice steamy dialogues.
The explanation of the rules can also be made very visual, with the game masters demonstrating what shall happen.

In the real world, with all the different international channels and specialty channels, I think things could get VERY spicy.

And for show elements that are (because of local laws) "Too Hot For TV", the content-providers could offer an internet paywall and/or streamable option like you suggested.

Couple of ideas for this scenario:

Some or all of the competitions could involve the contestants having to switch sexual partners
- an oral contest for the 16 contestants, 1 round, where the two winners are the first person to make someone cum and the last person to actually cum.

A bidding (Secret Santa style?) contest where you gain points by taking on humiliating sexual tasks (getting pegged, forced crossdressing for a week with the winner of the comp getting to dress the loser up with suggestions from the other contestants, etc.)

The first loser of certain comps has to be naked, wearing only a chastity device for a week and the other contestants are encouraged to sexually tease and feel up that loser and they just have to take it.

Tickling, either as a comp (the last one to tap out is the winner) and/or punishment for being the first one to lose a comp.
