Nope. The movie was a comedy authored by Mae West. I think she played a nightclub performer who moved west. The name was originally supposed to be It Ain't No Sin, but the censors objected to that.

I just googled the book in her hand and found a review of the movie, which was recently restored. Turns out that it's about the author of "The Restless Virgin," who brought the girl in the photograph home to serve as his muse for his next book. It's a John Ford movie.

It's going to be a gray dreary rainy day today so I may get some more writing done. The last of the cherry tomatoes have been harvested so the only thing left is cleaning up the garden in preparation for the winter.

There's a fresh pot of coffee brewing and the teapot is hot. There are fresh pastries on the counter and I'm going to try to make another cornbread today.

I'll be over in the corner, working on my story. I did complete an important scene so there are only a couple of scenes left to complete before the story is ready for a final edit/rewrite.

I may have scrapped the 10 cupper for good. Dug out the old 4 cupper and it seems to fill the bill quite nicely. Less cups to sit and get stale. More or less fresh every time.

It didn't work. But she got some good laughs out of it. And I learned to walk while tied up.
