The AH Coffee Shop and Reading Room 09

I think there is a way that it would look like that -- if you open a story to read it, I suspect it registers the view immediately. If the reader is slow reading the story (and 32K takes a while to read), you may have seen the view and then see the vote hours later.

(Your story was really good btw.)
I just finished your story and loved it.

May I instead point you to the bizarre-o world of T/I LSD? I heard it’s an easier habit to break.

Not that I ever tried.
Will you be my sponsor? Like, if I start thinking about writing a story about a Korean MILF trophy wife who finds herself attracted to her new stepson ... do I DM you and you remind me how long it's been that I've been on the wagon and I can get through one more day without those succulent, juicy page views?

Add a long-lost 18yo daughter who comes to live with the family, get all three of them to know each other in the biblical sense, write it all with quality prose, and you might get yourself a lifetime supply of those sweet, sweet views.

Following StillStunned's advice, Isuccumbled to the temptation and posted a T/I story, which I never thought I would do. I need that hit of views. Two of my most engaged stories ever already this week has me craving more.

EDIT: Santa's Lap is a cheesy mommy sat in my lap story that will be my second entry in the contest and is scheduled to appear on Sunday.

I'm about to drop a story that has divorced Mom gettin' it on with her daughter's boyfriend, all parties consenting and having a good laugh over it. Mrs. Robinson with permission. Is that I/T?

Good question. 🤔 Does mom call him son in law? Does daughter ever watch or get off on hearing about it?

No, it's a poly situation with the daughter, and hawt Mom is thanking boyfriend for treating daughter so well. The two compare notes, however, which irritates the boyfriend.

Not concerned about category, it's GS all the way. Mostly curious about mentioning the I/T in tags.

I think if you tag it as T/I and don't put it in T/I, then the tag may discourage some readers who aren't here to read incest. I might also be ready for Laurel to move it to T/I if I tagged it that way.

If you put it in T/I, then readers there will roll with it, but you might get some "that's not incest" comments.

The season must be changing. I just made chili con carne for dinner. I'll freeze what I didn't eat. It's enough for at least two dinners. I used tomato puree and dried jalapeno from this year's garden and oregano from last year.

The mountains are supposed to get a little snow this weekend. There was a time when the ski slopes would be getting ready to open, but that isn't happening for a while.

I've been watching the Chicagoland weather. We're flying up there on Thursday, and the weather there will be about as warm as the weather here, but it won't feel like it: 50F with sunshine (here) and 50F with rain and wind (there) do not feel the same.

I'm pretty positive this is not enough for T/I. Yes, it's a trope there that MC's family was always "open about sexuality," but what you're describing is how such openness actually looks in real life, and it isn't merely a prelude to everyone getting it on with their relatives.

I'd just put the story wherever it actually belongs, like Mature or Group or whatnot, and not even include any incest-related tags.

time to feed a few plot bunnies and warm up the coffee. Have some other stuff to do today, but hoping to get back to writing.

I got 700 words in early this morning. I'm about as far as I can go before I have to come up with better names than "Young Hot Guy" and "Jerk Man" for my next two characters, especially since "Jerk Man" is the male lead.

I'm starting to suspect that my writing may benefit from a little more up-front development work on the male characters. :ROFLMAO:

It's cloudy but mild this morning with highs near 70 degrees expected. Quite a difference from mid 20s and snow earlier this week. A great morning to enjoy a cup of Earl Grey.

There's a fresh pot of coffee brewing and the teapot is steaming. There are donuts (powdered and filled) and some left over Chex party mix on the counter.

I'll be over in the corner staring at my laptop screen wondering why the words aren't coming. I'm going to have to have a word with my Muse ...

It's Saturday again--the day each week when I weigh myself. With my activity dropping, I've gained three pounds of (mostly) Halloween candy.

I spent the entire last week developing an algorithm for my Sudoku solver and struggling to keep my mind wrapped around the logic. I think I have it now. One algorithm solves twelve different Sudoku techniques, four advanced (xwing1, xwing2, swordfish, jellyfish) and eight basic techniques (naked and hidden versions of singles, doubles, triples and quads). I haven't implemented the singles method because the direct solution is much easier than the algorithm.

Now that I think about it, there are only three techniques in my solver that can't use the same algorithm, and at least one technique I haven't implemented that could use the algorithm.

There are donuts (powdered and filled)...

I think I shall avail myself of a filled one to celebrate.

Celebrate what? Blood tests this week showed that I dropped 0.5 off my A1C with diet adjustments alone: fewer carbs, more protein. I tried to tell the doc that August's numbers were anomalous, spiked by end-of-summer indulgences, but no, she insisted on the "you're diabetic now" lecture. Nope. Sorry. We're back to where we have been for the previous five years, even a little better. Maybe higher than perfection, but consistently below the magic threshold. Nonetheless, aside from infrequent treats, the change in eating habits is going to stick.

Thanks for the donut, CK! 😇

So, not only Rosy, but now Quince is confused and thinks it's March.

This is the only bloom, but there are several more buds getting ready to open and with the weather forecast to stay warm for the next week or more at least, I'm sure they will.

I had a rare couple hours alone in the house today. I watched the BBC's collection of the Eurhythmics at proper volume, aka loud. And reignited my lust for Annie Lennox, as well as remembering the 80s. Many confused emotions at the time!

It's gone from T-shirt weather two days ago to freezing and dreich. Allegedly it'll be -9 with snow next week, but I don't believe that for a minute - we've never had snow in November down here. (cue my dad's voice reminding everyone of the time it snowed on Derby Day, the first of June...)
