It was a lovely afternoon. We had supper on the screen porch. The wind had died down so it wasn't bad at all.

Sounds nice. I've been wanting to screen my back porch for a long time. Maybe it won't be so long before I find time for it.

I didn't accomplish much today, writing wise, but I did add to a sci fi poem and organized my submissions then submitted one flash fiction to a new venue. I hope to do better about submitting as soon as things are rejected in the coming months.

How is Munchkin?

The sun shines in the early morning sky and a chill wind blows gently.
It really is quite a nice morning round here; I just hope it stays that way (childhood memories of family trips which ended in pouring rain or worse).
So I think a nice cup of coffee to start the day off.

:)

Ah, coffee. Absolutely sunny/warm/gently-clothed weekend has given way to somber skies and flash flooding. May the clouds soon part, your illnesses depart, and great inspiration return...

Major coffee needed. Is that IV still available, Tex?

Aaaand... it's snowing again. I haven't had so much fun since the last time I ate a light-bulb.

MP - some good news. Thank God kids are so resilient.

Yes, I know, it is after noon. Sorry but that happens occasionally. I got woke up early, rode hard, and put away wet. Not that I'm complaining in the least. :)

A bright and sun, if a little cool day outside. I might wander out that way later but for right now. Sigh. I'm to damned relaxed to care.

Fresh coffee for those in need.

Speaking of need. What's for lunch? I missed breakfast, kind of sorta.

It has stopped raining (a wave of cheers is heard from the crowd).

Can I have a nice cup of tea, please?

I drove nine and half hours today--just so I could be in lovely Sterling, Co. Now I'm stiff.

What does someone who is stiff do in Sterling, Co? Perverted Minds and all that.

Coffee is available for the evening crew and a hot kettle for those so inclined or is that reclined.

My fiancé gave me Seattle for my birthday. Ah, the gluttonous pleasures of Pike Market!

Happy Birthday, Bear.
What does she plan for next year's celebration, New York, or maybe London ?

We got clouds abundant and a breeze quite billowy.
All I need is the coffee

OK it's that time again. Too soon for coffee, too late for Quaaludes. A pounding of snow today, maybe six inches, but it's melting away fast and the garbage truck may be able to make it down our dirt road tomorrow. No sign of bears or pumas, whew, but the deer are frisky.

I'm thinking of music. I almost bought a sheng online. That's a Chinese mouth organ that inspired but is otherwise unrelated to harmonicas and accordions. But is that one playable? I don't need another mute decoration. Got enough of those. [/me glances at unused concertina] Maybe I'll find one to try, next time I'm in SF Chinatown.

Then there's the... oh, I'd better stop now. Y'all don't need more on taropatches. I'll go lie down, awaiting a morning pill alarm and trash-haul klaxon. Espresso when needed.

Did I mention that a pound of fine Italian espresso grind at the local discount grocer costs less than a single cup of fancy coffee at StarFucks? It's true.

It is never too soon for , uh, coffee. Yeah, coffee.

Did you say diary? You know it is a proven fact that anyone who keeps a diary wants others to read it and groan or squeal or, yeah, that also.

Fresh coffee is now available on all three channels.
