Hey Tex, want to redecorate? Motorcycles and coffee, seems to be a new(ish) thing.

I was taking a break this morning and doing a bit of work on the next chapter of "Chinese Takeout" and started looking up biker coffee shops and it seems like it's thing. I had no idea, so now I'm kind of looking around and thinking yes, this would really fit into my story.... Looks like fun.

Yes, Hurricane Harvey and yes, we had lots of boats from all over.

HP, the kettle is on the back burner of the hot plate.

Fresh coffee on for the evening crew and a fresh kettle.

I'll even use the red kettle so HP can find it easier.

At time of late evenings, something as colourful as a red kettle can be of great help.

Hydrate, make sure you do and you can always drink that pediatric solution stuff if it's difficult. Do the whole clementine juiced thing and add vitamin c and zinc. That'll help. You can't OD on clementines and vitamin c.

You can buy multivitamins including zinc or effervescent Vitamin C and Zinc tablets in most supermarkets.

My kettle is chrome-plated and is boiling for whatever people want...

It's usually found in the mineral sphalerite, which can be quite pretty.

Oh wait, that probably isn't what you need to know. You can get supplements in the grocery store.

They are collected, but so many have been saved, they're only worth about 12 cents in circulated condition. An uncirculated will run as much as 50 cents. Still a lot cheaper than health store supplements.

90% of the soup is gone and 85% of the coffee has been put to good use so I'm feeling much better. Housemate went out earlier and brought me a pint of cherry vanilla ice cream back for being such a good boy today. Yeah, I know, it sounds very condescending but it ain't believe me. Last year at about this time a mural appeared on the side of a store along a busy street I usually take to work. It shows two candy hearts--the kind we used to get in grade school that were printed with little messages. One of the candies in the mural said "Anne" and the other said "Love."

I was stopped in traffic yesterday morning next to the mural, marvelling that it had lasted a year without graffiti damage, then last night I was driving home by a different route and found large cutouts of the same candy hearts posted on lamp poles all along the street. Each was printed with "Anne."

I don't know who Anne is, but she seems to be appreciated.
