We've had some dry weather today. This was a Good Thing because I had to cut a CB dipole to size, but it seems to work - so far. But it's now in the loft and seems to work well enough.
All I need now is someone to talk to round here!

Rain this morning, sun in the middle of the day and now it is raining again.

One boat trailer in the yard. Needs some cleaning up. Bearings repacked. Otherwise it is in good shape. I found a good Briggs & Stratton 5hp four stroke outboard. It's good enough that I'm trading it for my personal 5hp Johnson.

Side panels for second boat done and most of the rest of the wood cut. Hopefully, I can have it finished by the weekend.

Halloween is going to be wet here.

No trick-or-treaters at all tonight. We haven't had many in years, but this might be the first time in thirty years with none.

Per Mexican tradition, the spirits of those who died as children can return at midnight tonight, and tomorrow is set aside for them. The spirits of those who died as adults will be welcomed back on the 2nd. Locally, there will be a parade on Saturday and there will be candy and sugar skulls for the kids, and lots of polarizing politics for everyone else.
