We had thunderstorms this morning. The huge piles of snow are gone so many areas have flooding.

Only a bit of rain. No snow yet. When will winter arrive?

Tomorrow I'm off for the next cardioversion, a heart reset-jumpstart. Maybe it will last.

Hmm, time to set the grinder to ESPRESSO and pulverize more beans.

Snow is promised in a few days but they're lied before.

Well, that was thoroughly refreshing. Nothing quite like a brisk swim in cool water (it stops you getting over-heated, you know).

I did but you never answered the doorbell.

I persuaded my Dragon to bring me home; it took half the flight to get warm.

My Dragon had to have his coffee storage folds removed (it kept doing nasty things to the armour), so in-flight coffee is not a real óption, unless there's a thermos flask or something available.

Thermos flask? Some of us work on multiples of pints, like maybe a gallon of coffee. Weeeeeeeeee. Lol. Got my first story in and it's up tomorrow and of course now I spot the typos. Who cares ..... the next one is calling and all my books arrived so it's read, research and write. More coffee, lots more coffeee. I have 50k words to write in the next 10 days and I'm on a caffeinated high and 5k words a day, for 2 weeks, woooo. This is going to be interesting.

Aside from the Black Rifle Coffee, (see link below, the real stuff, none of those over-roasted Starbucks blends), Chloe also likes writing long explicit stories about nice Chinese girls led astray, and she has an awful sense of humor as you will discover. She's not that shy but she is modest and yappy and almost always cheerful and excitable which sometimes leads to her getting carried away. In which case you just tell her to shut it down. Right HP?

Ah, I see a new face but I don't think calling her by her initials will work so well. Welcome to the coffee shop and reading room. We might not be the biggest or baddest grope, uh, group on Lit but we are the most caffeinated.

A1C started out a year ago at 10.7, today it was 6.4. A year ago, blood sugar was 270. To it was 57, which is actually on the low side. A very large improvement. I'm glad I went to jelly bean rehab. They probably saved my life.

Fresh coffee and a hot kettle. Enjoy.

My very first NonCon/Reluctance story. These competitions have been great for getting me into new categories.

"Fields of Gold" is much more military so now I'm raiding my beloveds bookshelves and writing bloodthirsty combat scenes interspersed with sex, romance and more mundane things like learning to fly a helicopter.... and I still have to write that sex while skydiving story.

And the great troll shootout at Tex's Cafe. "A Troll is Haunting Texas" - something like that written along the lines of a Larry Correia "Monster Hunter International" story but staring a Literotica Troll.

No coffee? Herbal tea? This is coming dangerously close to heresy.

With skydiving sex the main thing to remember is that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Or is that free fall sex? In any case it is easy to simulate either in a pool, ocean, or lake. Just remember to breath ever so often.

When you mention that shootout story, why do I see a cross between "Kill Bill" and the "Dukes of Hazard"?

I am sooo impressed TxRad. In one year? That is amazing. My blood sugar has never been that high, but I haven't managed to get it under 100 yet either.
