Casey let out a heavy sigh as she turned off the hot water in her shower, then pushed aside the wet curtains to reach out and grab one of the dry towels she'd left hanging by the sink. She wrapped it as snugly as she could around her curvaceous form, but her large breasts made it difficult for the towel to cover everything. Not that it really mattered, since she was the only one in the house. She'd sent her four-year-old son off to stay with her mother for the weekend, and with her husband off on another month-long business trip the young woman had the entire place to herself.

She didn't prefer it that way, but that's how it always seemed to end up.

Her husband worked hard, and she couldn't blame him for that, but they seemed to have drifted apart, and even when he was home he was still off in his own little world.

Casey tried to trudge through it, but she was still so very young, and she needed someone to keep her warm at night. She initially turned to one of her closest friends, Matt, for some guidance, and for a while her mood seemed to liven up a bit. She felt like, with his help, she could get through the tough times and make it out alright. She started to depend on him, inviting him over more and more until, deep down, she realized she needed him.

That night, however, Casey decided to do a bit of drinking to celebrate her "anniversary" to her husband. After she finished showering she put on a seductive black dress with a plunging neckline and pulled out a brand new bottle of Cabernet Merlot. She dimmed the lights and put on some music, then retired to her living room where she started in on her drink.

Matt looked up at the clock in his office, and, realizing he was getting nowhere with the project he was working on, leaned back in his chair. He rubbed his eyes, and, standing up, picked up his suit from behind his chair, and walked out of his office.

Down in the parking lot, he started his car. As the street lights had started to fly by, he allowed his thoughts to wander to Casey.

It was her warm smell was always what first drew him in. Each time they greeted each other with a cursory embrace, it floated from the dark hair that tumbled over her shoulders and captivated him. After that, she could talk about anything she wanted to, her husband, her son, her house, even the color of paint on the walls and he would be completely lost in the study of her face, of her form.

And tonight, he found himself driving by Casey's house. This was not unusual, especially recently. Matt knew what had been going on in her life, even though she never spoke of it in too much detail. And how a man could ever leave a woman like her for more than a few hours without rushing home as fast as possible…well, it was beyond him. He had found her on his mind a great deal recently.

Many years ago, he quietly had a fascination with her. But she had married and they saw each other much less than before. He had considered it an honorable loss, the removal of her from his thoughts, and knew it was right that he move on. She had a child, and started her new life. She seemed happy, or at least content.

But when she called him several months ago, and then called him again, and then again, he felt his want of her reignite.

And now he was at her doorstep practicing his opening line. “Just thinking of you…” he whispered, and then shook his head. “You look lovely as always…How have you been, Casey?” He shook his head and, straightening his tie, knocked on the door.

At first Casey couldn't hear the gentle knocking on the door, but after a little while she became aware that there was something different about the music she was listening to. It took her a little while to find the remote for her stereo, and even when she did it took her a bit longer to be able to locate the volume control. She set her wine glass down and lowered the music, then waited until she heard whatever it was that was making that noise.

"Whaaaat?" she groaned when she realized there was someone at the door.

This was supposed to be her night.

"I'm coming," she finally yelled, and the alcohol in her system certainly caused her to call out in a much louder voice than she would have normally used. Casey finally propped herself up on the couch, then rose to her feet and stumbled off towards the door. The young mother wasn't completely hammered, but she was certainly on her way as the bottle of wine she'd started in on was just about empty.

She had a pretty damn good buzz, and was slightly annoyed that someone wanted to bother her on her anniversary night.

The bitterness in Casey's face all but disappeared after she'd opened up the door and found Matt standing out there in his nice suit and tie. Her face lit up like a Christmas Tree as she opened the door wider, smiling brightly at the only man she could really call her friend.

"Matt!? Hi! Hey! What in the world are you doing here?"

As Casey opened the door, Matt could see the bottle in her hand. “Hi Casey, I was just in the neighborhood and…” His voice cut short as she opened the door all the way. He could not help but trace her curves from head to toe with his eyes. “You look ravishing, Casey!” He tried so hard to remain focused on her eyes, but could not help but return his attentions for a brief moment to her dress, and its rather revealing front. “I didn’t catch you on the way out, did I? I was just in the neighborhood and I was thinking of you.”

He reached one arm out to her and placing it on her waist, pulled her closer to him for a hug. “Do you have a date with your husband or something? Because if you do, I have to say,” he said, looking her over once more, “what a lucky guy!”
