Picking a Medicare plan was very confusing for me, especially having to do it shortly after moving to a new area. Figuring out what doctors accept what plan, where they’re located, all of that. I ended up going with an HMO Medicare Advantage Plan. One year into it, no major complaints. The only drawback is if I’m ever hospitalized, the main hospital is an hour away from home. Annual physical exams and basic GP care is close and convenient though.
We are also on a Medicare Advantage Plan. It works for us at this time as we're relatively healthy. Fortunately, there are a lot of hospitals available fairly close for us.

Will I harsh anyone's mellow if I take the stand that I have no intention of ever completely retiring?

I’ve backed off but I do work ‘things’ nearly seven days a week because I enjoy it.
At this point in our lives, I think it's important to do that which fulfills us. If it's working for you, I say go to it! 💓
