Howdy all. This is a nice thread with nice folks but man it takes a while to catch up. Did church and some errands. Might go golfing this afternoon. Need to do some prep for school. Clearly not doing any of it now as I am here. Ha ha. Hope you all are enjoying your Sundays

I'm going to look a little more traditional to the way my Avatar was before.
I just submitted it to Lit. Thankfully it doesn't take as long to change as before.
I hope everyone likes it...

Cut the west 40. Put all the machines and trailers-n-crap away. The horses got out of their fly masks because the rain chased them away. Flies - horses are hanging out in the barn. Put the new license plate on the trailer. The old bracket broke off and it got lost, so the new one is bolted to the expanded metal mesh on the tailgate. It's not under the light at night, but it's reflective and it'll stay put. Put some clothes away. Made 3-egg omelettes for the landlady and me for brunch. Worked in a nap and visited with Daisy the very large brown Lab girlie. The landlady went to work. She takes care of old people and her 104YO client is in the hospital, and there is talk that this could be the last hurrah. She was born when Calvin Coolidge was president.

You had a busy day.... sweet old gal...she has seen much. My fave group of patients are geriatric.... they have special doctors and nurses that take care of specifically geriatric patients, if that would have been a specialty when I got out of nursing school I totally would have done it. Glad you got to see Daisy and give her scratches

Daisy is a good girl. Fred, on the other hand, has been acting like she forgot who I am. I can understand when TDK is here, but she isn't. Fred bit me last time I was here. She seems to have retreated into the Hell Kittens and her mother the landlady.


I do take her room when I'm here, so there's that.

a good curry chutney (thicker than sauce) on chips? delish!!
But i'm more a brown sauce gal.
have not been able to handle much vinegar since the Sunburn Incident of the mid-1970s
